If roll paper does not feed, cut the end straight across and uncurl it by rolling it backward, if necessary. Then reload the paper. If thick media does not feed, make sure you are loading it straight into the product, not at an angle. If paper jams when you print on both sides of the paper, try loading fewer sheets.
Dust, paper fiber, and other debris might accumulate on the pickup roller and cause paper feed issues. Clean the pickup roller inside the printer, and then try to print again. Turn off the printer. Remove the paper stack from the input tray.
Open the start menu and select Control Panel > Administrative Tools > and choose the Services icon. Locate the Print Spooler service and right-click. Then select the option to “Stop” the service.
Using both hands, put one piece of paper in the manual feed slot until the front edge of the paper touches the paper feed roller. Once the machine has grasped the paper, let go. The side to be printed should be faced up. The machine will hold the paper in place until the print data is sent to the machine.
Clean the print head, if necessary. Make sure the paper size, orientation, and layout settings in your printer software are correct. Make sure your document does not contain blank pages. If your printer software has a Preview option, you can check for blank pages before you print and remove them, if necessary.

Do a hard reset on your printer. To do this you just need to turn off your printer, unplug for a few minutes and then plug the printer again. This is a common laser printer problem. Primary causes include grime, dust, worn rollers, or incorrect paper weight. The most basic way to prevent paper jams is simply through regular cleaning of your printer. Also, replace parts as needed.
Ghost prints happen when the drum or fuser unit within your printer become faulty. Because a fault with this element won`t heat the particles of the toner to a high enough temperature, the marks being made on the paper are much lighter in colour and appear more faded than typical documents.
In Settings, go to Network & Internet, find Network and Sharing Center, go to Change advanced sharing settings and uncheck Turn on automatic setup of network connected devices. Reasons why your HP printer has ink but won`t print
This may seem obvious, but it sometimes happens: first make sure your paper tray has paper in it. Misalignment, clogged printheads, faulty data communication or insufficient ink levels can also be sources of the problem.
If your printer is running low on ink, it may start printing blank pages. To check your ink levels, go to your printer`s control panel and select the Ink Levels option. Whenever the ink levels are low, replace the cartridges with new ones. You can also try shaking the cartridge gently to redistribute the ink.
