Paper curl is caused by an excess amount of moisture in the paper. The first step to ensure less paper curl is to store your paper in a cool, dry area. By doing so, you will reduce the amount of moisture and humidity the paper is exposed to. The next step is to always fan the paper before placing in the machine.
Paper curl is caused by excess humidity in the paper. When paper passes through the fuser, the combination of heat and pressure required to bond toner to the paper also causes curling because of excess moisture in the paper. All laser printer are susceptible to this.
High temperatures and high humidity will cause paper to curl. If you don`t use the printer very often, the paper may have been in the paper tray too long. Turn over the stack of paper in the paper tray. Also, fan the paper stack and then rotate the paper 180 degrees in the paper tray.
On the device control panel, press Menu/Enter. Use the < or the > button to select Service, and then press Menu/Enter. Use the < or the > button to select Less paper curl, and then press Menu/Enter.
3D print warping happens when extruded filament layers on the 3D printer build plate cool too quickly and shrink. This causes the plastic material to contract and pull away from the build plate, resulting in warping (or curling, as it is sometimes known).
To fix warping/curling in 3D prints, use an enclosure to control the ambient printing temperature and any rapid cooling that causes shrinkage in your prints. Use a good build plate temperature for your filament, make sure your build plate is clean and use adhesives so the print sticks to the build plate properly.
Paper pushed too far into the input tray when it is loaded, might feed into the printer incorrectly, causing the paper to tear. Paper stacks loaded into the input tray with too many or too few sheets of paper, might feed into the printer incorrectly, causing the paper to tear.
Make sure your paper meets the specifications for your product. If paper dust builds up on the rollers, they may lose traction and become unable to feed paper properly. Clean the paper guide. If roll paper does not feed, cut the end straight across and uncurl it by rolling it backward, if necessary.
If the paper is too heavy, you might get a bad curl and tight “creases” or cracks on the surface of the sheet. It`s also called the `alligator skin` effect because that`s what it resembles (photo at right).
The plastic is extruded at a very hot temperature, and if it does not cool quickly, it may change shape over time. Curling can be prevented by rapidly cooling each layer so that it does not have time to deform before it has solidified.
The only possible way to unwarp a 3D print would be re-heating it using a heat gun/hair dryer and trying to nudge it back into shape.
Both drooping and curling (also called warping) are caused by insufficient cooling. To help your printer out, you can try lowering your nozzle temperature. By lowering the temperature, your printer has to do less work cooling the filament.
Paper curl occurs, depending on heating conditions at the time or the environment, and where the paper was kept before use.
In the depths of winter, RH levels as low as 15-20% are not uncommon. In these conditions, moisture is drawn from the exposed surfaces of stacks of paper and they shrink, but the centre of the paper still has its original moisture content. This causes “tight edges” and the paper begins to curl.
Microwave the paper for about 15 seconds to evaporate some of the water. Afterwards, press the paper flat with a heavy item to get rid of wrinkles. If you have a book or binder full of wet paper, place a paper towel between every ten or so pages to absorb water. Then, place the papers in front of a gentle fan.
High Humidity

When a printer resides in a humid environment, the moisture content can distort the paper, making it warped, wavy or curled. This can disrupt the function of the printer and cause paper jams. It can also cause streaks and smudging during the printing process, diminishing the print quality.

Smooth the paper out as much as possible with your hands. Mist a small amount of water onto a white cloth such as a piece of linen or canvas; then place another sheet of paper atop the wrinkled paper. Set the damp cloth atop the papers, then iron the cloth on a low-heat setting, moving the iron frequently.
If your printer is spitting out pages full of strange characters, symbols, or strange formatting, your inkjet printer drivers may be outdated, incompatible with your operating system or corrupt. Drivers are important to the proper function of your inkjet printer and it is best to check for updates regularly.
Paper art placed in direct contact with the glazing will respond to humidity changes around the edges before the center area. As the paper around the edge expands and contracts, the edges begin to show signs of buckling (Fig. 1). Glass transfers heat better than air does.
Images and text can print at an angle or they may not print at all. Your printer can become misaligned if there is any paper stuck in the machine, print cartridges are clogged or dirty, improper installation of cartridges and using low quality cartridges.
The natural fibres on one side absorbs the water and expands thus increasing the dimensions in that area. This effect gives the curl in your case. Even when the paper dries the distortion is still evident as the fibres have been physically repositioned.

Right-click the printer icon on the taskbar, and then select the Print Head Alignment. Or access the printer software, click the Maintenance tab, and then click the Print Head Alignment button. The printer prints test patterns that you use to check the print head alignment. Here are sample printouts.

Allowing your curls to cool will also help get them to stay. Once hair is curled, pin the curls in place with a clip or bobby pin. The heat from the curling iron makes your hair change its shape. When you clip it, you are making sure it stays in your desired shape, even as it cools.

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.

HP Laserjet 6MP wont feed paper
ANSWER : I had a similar paper pickup problem on laserjet 6mp. The printer would go through start-up sequence fine but when it received a print job you could here the main gears/rollers turning but no clicking from paper pickup solenoid, then eventually error lights would come one . I incorrectly assumed it was an error with the paper pickup mechanism and wasted a whole day taking the printer apart and replacing the paper pick mechanism. Long story short, if I had bothered to figure out the secondary error light codes from the start, I would have realized it was just a bad fuser and would not have wasted so much time.
