The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers. The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly. The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product. The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.
Check the paper rollers and clean any particles of dust or dirt if you continue getting error messages indicating there is no paper in the printer. Make sure the stack of papers isn`t crumpled or bowed. Remove the stack of papers and replace the tray. Replace the paper and take it out again.
The d in both cases means it can print duplex (front and back) printing The n is for wired networking. The w is for wireless (AND wired) networking.
A “Load Paper” intervention message appears on the printer display even when there is paper loaded in the tray. This error message means the printer is not detecting any paper on the tray. The same intervention message will appear when: The tray is empty.
Slide the paper all the way into the printer. The leading edge of the paper will stop at the Paper Drive Roller. Locate the Paper Sensor/OOPs sensor on the right side of the paper path. It can be seen from the top of the printer with the Top Cover open and has red, black, and blue wires attached to it.
The message “No Paper Fed” may appear on the display if the machine is out of paper, if the paper isn`t loaded properly in the paper tray, if the jam clear cover at the back of the machine isn`t install correctly, or if the white PE Actuator is missing or isn`t properly connected.
N = Network. This means that the printer will come with some form of network feature, usually wi-fi connectivity or an ethernet port.
A: dw = duplex & wireless, dn = duplex & network, nw = network & wireless. Where duplex means the printer will automatically print on both sides of the paper without having to re-insert a paper to print on the back. Network means printer will work on a wired network.
Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
Streaking is usually caused by a worn out drum unit or spent toner cartridge. Drum units are a consumable and only need to be replaced after the use of 3 or 4 toners. Not all printers use a separate toner and drum unit.
