This error might happen at any time for multiple reasons. The most common causes are due to the printer being asked to perform an action that the firmware is not capable of, and might not have been designed to perform, such as: Printing files with unsupported programming commands.
To calibrate your LCD panel on a Windows 10 computer, go to Settings > Display > Calibrate display color. Then go follow the steps to set your gamma, brightness, contrast, and colors. You can also use online tools to calibrate your LCD panel .
The first step in printer calibration is to calibrate your monitor. Then, make sure you use the correct printer driver for your printer. Within the printer driver are controls for fine-tuning the overall appearance of color from your printer. Depending on your needs, this may be sufficient to get the color you want.
Rotate the body of the laser 180 degrees to shine the opposite side of the laser to the wall and again mark the height as Y2. All four sides of the laser have now been marked. In principle all four marks made should be at exactly the same height, if they are then it is perfectly calibrated.
From the Home screen on the printer control panel, scroll to and select Reports. Select Configuration/Status Pages. Select Configuration Page. Select Print to print the configuration and Jetdirect pages.
This is an error indicating that there is no firmware installed on the disk. This is usually the result of installing a new disk or performing a Clean Disk operation from the Preboot menu.
If you`re working with video on an LCD monitor, the recommended white point is 6500K or D65. This is also known as the native temperature of your monitor. If you`re working with still images that you plan to print, the white point of 5000K (D50) is recommended, as it looks more like white on paper.
If you want your scanner to represent the color accurately in scans, you should calibrate it. Make sure your scanner is connected to your computer with a cable or over the network. Scan your calibration target and save it as an uncompressed TIFF file.
Choose Graphics Properties (or choose Graphics Options), and then Graphics Properties… Click on the Color Correction button (or click on the Color tab). Click Restore defaults. Check for a button or menu item on the monitor for adjusting the colour balance.
Check the print job settings: From the application you are printing from, click File > Print, and then click Options, Printer Setup, or Preferences, or open the Paper Type/Quality or Media & Quality menu. Make sure the color, paper type, paper size, and quality settings are correct for your print job.

HP CM2320fxi MFP random color stripes
ANSWER : Had this problem with an HP Color LaserJet 3700dn unit not too long ago. In fact, it was not only doing the random multicolored stripes/bands across the page thing, it was also doing a repetitive palm print-like smudge of black toner on every page. I didn’t want to give up on this printer because on the few occasions in which it printed perfectly, the image quality was stunning and the colors were very impressive.

My 2550n Color LaserJet does not want to print in color
ANSWER : That model had issues with the carousel solenoid sticking. That might explain why it works after you let it sit for 10 minutes. The solenoid gets hotter with use which causes the deteriorated foam on it to become sticky and hold down the release plate instead of letting it go. This allows the carousel to spin when it is supposed to stop for each color. The solenoid is located on the right side of the printer. If you open the lid, it is just behind the opening at the top right. You need to remove the top of the printer and scrape off the goo on top of the solenoid body. I put a piece of thin sticky backed felt to replace it. Other people use electrical tape.
