When a 30.03.22 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that there is an error calibrating the scanner. Turn the printer off, and then back on to clear the error. If the issue continues, contact HP technical support to perform more complex troubleshooting steps.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.

To use your HP printer in Windows 10 with S Mode, install the HP Smart app (in English) from the Microsoft store. Once the app is installed and connected to your printer, you can print, scan and access features from HP Smart.
Connect the printer to the computer either using a USB cable, parallel port cable, or SCSI cable and then connect the power plug to a power outlet. After connecting the printer to the computer, it can be turned on using the power button on the front of the printer.
If your printer`s status displays “Printer in error state,” there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn`t open and the paper isn`t jammed.
An E1 or E2 error indicates that the paper size setting does not match the paper size that is loaded. Remove all paper from the input tray, and then load the correct paper size. Remove any paper from the input tray. Slide the paper width guide as far as possible to the left.
A Scanner Error 22 error message displays on the printer control panel when you try to scan from the printer. This error might display when extra weight or pressure is applied to the scanner glass, such as when scanning an open book. The weight or pressure can stall the scanner mechanism.

ANSWER : Definitely not a solenoid problem. I’ve worked on tens of thousands of printers and never replaced a single solenoid. You probably knocked something loose when you installed the pickup roller. Maybe something to do with the gear on the end of the pickup roller shaft. You’ll need to take the gear assembly off to be able to see it.

What repair needs to be done for a "50 needs repair" message on an HP Laserjet IIIP?
ANSWER : I don’t know what you mean by good toner cartridges. They haven’t been built in about 10 years, so if they are new OEMs in the box, they are guaranteed to fail. The 50 error on that printer is mostly a burned out fuser lamp. This site was sold, so as you can see, there are no more kits available.
