HP all-in-one inkjet printers under the Deskjet brand exist, starting with the HP Deskjet F380 printer/scanner/copier, introduced in 2006, using HP Vivera inks, and offering print speeds of 20 ppm in black-and-white, and 14 ppm in color. Today, HP sells various Deskjets.
What ink does HP Deskjet F380 use? The HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One printer uses the HP 21 black ink cartridge, HP 22 tri-color ink cartridge, and HP 58 photo color ink cartridge.
Operating System – Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10.

Deskjet printers are slower than their inkjet counterparts, but they are cheaper to produce and usually require less maintenance. They also produce higher-quality text and graphics than inkjet printers. Deskjet printers are best for users who don`t have a lot of printing needs.
The ink or toner cartridges are listed according to where the printer was manufactured. Some printers use more than one cartridge. For example, an HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer uses an HP 61 Black ink cartridge, as well as an HP 61 Tri-color ink cartridge.
Some HP printers use just two ink cartridges, a black and tri-color, while others work with four individual ink cartridges that come in black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Both types produce high quality text, color and photo prints, but for most printer users, individual ink cartridges offer a better cost savings.
Our HP OfficeJet Pro and HP OfficeJet All-in-One series of products provide a variety of highly efficient small and mid-sized office printers with print times in both black and color ink averaging close to or above 20 pages per minute (ppm).
An all-in-one printer, or multifunction printer (MFP), is a machine that combines several capabilities such as copying, faxing and scanning. Larger all-in-one printers for office use typically provide centralized document management as well.
The short answer is YES. Printer ink expires. Ink cartridges can usually last two or three years if properly packaged and stored. But in a standard case, they will eventually dry out and become useless after this period.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners . Under Printers & scanners, look for your printer. If you see your printer listed, you`ll know it`s installed.
Another major advantage of laser printers is they print much faster and produce higher-quality prints than inkjet printers do. For example, the Xerox VersaLink B405, a laser printer, prints at speeds of up to 47 pages per minute (ppm), while the HP DeskJet 3755, an inkjet printer, only prints up to 8 ppm.
HP printers use thermal inkjet technology that delivers high-quality prints with a broader range of color accuracy. Epson printers are generally slower than HP printers, but this can vary depending on the model. HP printers are generally faster, especially when it comes to black-and-white prints.

Deskjet, on the other hand, is a brand name given to inkjet printers that are designed by HP (Hewlett-Packard). These models are available in a variety of sizes ranging from compact domestic printers to larger ones for frequent and regular use. Deskjet printers have the ability to print almost three pages in a minute.
When color ink is expended and black ink still remains, you can continue printing for a short time using only black ink. However, you should replace the expended ink cartridge(s) as soon as possible. See the following section to continue printing temporarily with black ink.
However, you can set up only one type of ink for the machine at a time. Which means you cannot mix both type of ink in a printer at the same time.
If you`re refilling a standard cartridge, you can put in about 4ml of ink. If you`re refilling a high yield cartridge, you can put in about 10ml of ink.
Original HP pigment inks are certifiably permanent under the ISO 11798 standard, concerning fade-resistance and durability of writing, printing, and copying on paper.
No, a laser printer uses toner and will eventually need a replacement toner cartridge. If you have an inkjet printer, you need ink cartridges. Both types of printers get the job done – it`s how they get there that differs.

Benefits of All-In-One Printers

One device takes up less space than three devices, which provides a rather obvious benefit, especially for smaller offices. Printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines tend to be bulky objects that can take up a lot of room on a desk, reducing available workspace.

At the basic level, printers work by converting digital images and text into physical copies. They do this using a driver or specialized software that has been designed to convert the file into a language that the printer can understand. The image or text is then recreated on the page using a series of minuscule dots.
All-in-one corresponds to a smaller model for customers or home offices, while a multifunction printer, is a larger model with the kind of copying, scanning, and quicker printing that a workgroup or busier corporate department would need.

HP deskjet 460 Waste ink tank full
ANSWER : I worked fixing printers for 5 years for Verizon and some of the older printers were notorious for the waste receptacle filling and overflowing with ink. My solution was good old warm water. Remove the waste container and scoop out as much as you can with a small screwdriver, wiping the discard on a paper towel, then just run warm water from the faucet into the container till all the residue is removed. This is just water soluble ink folks, if you want to test it, scoop out a glob and dissolve it in warm water, its easy as pie. I never once bought a new ink discard reservoir. I just cleaned out my mobile 460 printer reservoir by the same method. There are no electrical connections its just all plastic.
