Dust, paper fiber, and other debris might accumulate on the paper feed rollers and cause paper jams and paper feed issues. Clean the rollers inside the printer, and then try to print again. Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord.
Your printer can become misaligned if there is any paper stuck in the machine, print cartridges are clogged or dirty, improper installation of cartridges and using low quality cartridges. Additionally, a printer can become misaligned after the machine completes a large print job.
Your printer might not be compatible with the paper size you are using. If your printer is compatible with the paper size you are using, you probably need to change the paper size in your printer settings. You will need to change this setting for any stationery that is not standard letter size (8.5 x 11).
Step 1: Turn off the computer and disconnect the AC adapter. Step 2: Remove all discs, memory cards, and nonessential peripheral devices. Step 3: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 15 seconds. Step 4: Reconnect the AC adapter and then turn on the computer.
Click Page Layout > Margins > Custom Margins. In the Page Setup dialog box, under Center on page, select Horizontally and Vertically. This will center the sheet on the page when you print.
If the printer has been printing continuously for a long time, the print head or other parts around it may overheat. The printer may stop printing at a line break for a period of time and then resume printing.
Do a hard reset on your printer. To do this you just need to turn off your printer, unplug for a few minutes and then plug the printer again. If that still doesn`t work, try turning the printer and your computer off, and then start it back up again. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling your printer driver.
Lower the envelope weight and lift the tray extension up, to the closed position. Grasp both sides of the envelope feeder and carefully pull it out of the printer. Slowly remove any jammed envelopes from the envelope feeder. Slowly remove any jammed envelopes from the printer.

ANSWER : hi everyone. i have an hp ink advantage 5525 all-in-one. changed all cartridges as they were empty and when i tried to print i got blank pages. i gave a print order a couple times to find out what was going on and found out that yellow and magenta inks worked but not cyan and black. removed cartridges, clean and all many times and nothing happened. then i tried this youtu.be/f57jOGj-G5s and the print quality of magenta and yellow improved significantly but still no black or cyan at all. i can’t do the running water thing because the print head is not detachable. any suggestions?

Paper Jam and carriage jam code when nothing is jammed
ANSWER : Did you try cleaning the encoder strip that runs through the cartridge assy.? Use Window Cleaner on a paper towel. Also, check inside on the right. I’ve seen a lot of times where there is a folded up scrap of paper that stops the carriage from going all the way to the right.
