Use the Cancel and Wireless buttons to restore Wi-Fi setup mode. Press the Cancel button to ready the printer. Press and hold the Wireless button and Cancel button simultaneously until the Power button blinks.

On HP printers, a “cold reset” causes the printer to return to its factory default settings, which among other things, causes it to try and retrieve its configuration information from a BOOTP server. This is how SAP printers and Athena printers should receive their configuration information.
1. On the printer display home screen, select the “set up” button (it looks like a gear). 2. Select “settings” > “device settings” > “reset settings” > “reset all” > “OK” and then “Yes.”
Regardless of which you choose, all of your applications will be deleted and any settings will be returned to their default. 9. If you choose “Remove everything,” you will also have to decide whether you want a completely clean drive or if you would like to keep the laptop and you aren`t planning on giving it away.
Sometimes power-cycling your printer can resolve the issue. Turn off your printer and unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug your printer back in, and then turn the printer back on.
Turn the printer off then back on. If the issue persists, turn the printer off, unplug the power cord and then wait at least three minutes before plugging the power cord back in and turning the printer back on. If the issue persists, ensure the product is running the latest firmware available from HP.com.
Why does my computer take so long to startup Windows 10? One of the most common reasons for a slow computer startup is too many programs running at the same time in the background. To boost your laptop startup, remove or disable any TSRs and startup programs that automatically start each time the computer boots.
If your laptop won`t power up, a faulty power supply, failed hardware, or a malfunctioning screen could be to blame [1]. In many cases, you may be able to resolve the problem yourself by ordering replacement parts or adjusting your laptop`s configuration.
Retrieve the recovery key from your Microsoft account

Sign into your Microsoft account and retrieve your recovery key. Sign in from the Microsoft recovery key page. Using another computer or mobile device, go to https://windows.microsoft.com/recoverykey (in English).

Resetting the printer stops printing and clears the current print job received from the active interface. You may want to reset the printer when there is a problem with the print job itself and the printer cannot print successfully.
Important: A factory reset erases all your data from your phone. If you`re resetting to fix an issue, we recommend first trying other solutions. Learn how to troubleshoot Android issues. To restore your data after you reset your phone, you must enter security info.
It should be the final option on the Reset options menu. Your Android will offer you a final warning that this reset will delete all your data.
Open HP Smart app, click your printer, click Printers in the top menu bar, and then click Diagnose & Fix. Follow the instructions if any issues are found. If you still can`t print, remove and re-add the printer.
1: Check Printer Power, Cables, and Paper

Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.

You may see a “printer offline” error if your computer can`t communicate with your printer. This can be caused by loose cable connections or an outdated printer driver or operating system.
5. Reboot and Try Again. If you can`t even open the Task Manager, then your computer is truly locked up and the only way to get it moving again is a hard reset. Press and hold down on the power button until your computer turns off, then press the power button again to boot back up from scratch.
More often than not, the reason that a computer freezes is due to a crashed program. Fortunately, Windows 10 allows you to easily shut down programs in the Task Manager. Access Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete. It will show you what apps and background processes are running.
The Device Freeze feature allows you to easily manage how much time is spent on the internet by a device or person by using a Freeze schedule. Prevent specific devices from coming online during scheduled timeframes such as school nights or bedtimes – or whenever you need no screens.
Restarting your computer flushes out the random and unimportant data slowing down your computer memory and stops background tasks from happening. Reboots keep computers running quickly. By flushing the RAM and clearing temporary files, your computer runs faster and more efficiently.
Battery Troubles:

If your HP laptop has a removable battery, remove it and reinsert it after a few seconds. Sometimes, a faulty connection can cause the power light to blink. If you can access a spare battery, try swapping it to see if the issue persists.

HP Programmable Key allows users to assign a specific task or action such as launching an application/file/website, assigning a key macro, and entering a text when the key is pressed.
Turn the printer off then back on. If the issue persists, turn the printer off, unplug the power cord and then wait at least three minutes before plugging the power cord back in and turning the printer back on. If the issue persists, ensure the product is running the latest firmware available from HP.com.
