If one or more toner cartridges are installed incorrectly, this may result in a 54.2 carousel rotation error. This error is typically accompanied by a loud grinding noise. NOTE: The carousel is the rotating part under the top cover to which all four print cartridges attach.
On HP printers, a “cold reset” causes the printer to return to its factory default settings, which among other things, causes it to try and retrieve its configuration information from a BOOTP server. This is how SAP printers and Athena printers should receive their configuration information.
This error is primarily caused by one of the following conditions: A transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to properly engage the internal transfer rollers. The SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad. The fuser drive assembly has failed.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.
If you are having trouble getting your cartridge to read properly or are having connectivity issues with your printer, sometimes a hard reset will resolve the problem. Power down the printer and then unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall. Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in.
cold reset = complete removal of power and restart. warm reset = forcing a restart via a reboot with out powering down.
This error is primarily caused by a transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to rotate, the SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad or the fuser drive assembly has failed.
Printer calibration enables you to keep track of “device drift”. Over time, even with consistent use of the same consumables (ink, toner, paper), your printer will suffer from device drift. We calibrate to make the printer behave consistently and bring it back into a repeatable state.
If you want to keep your printer in good shape and avoid wasting ink and paper, you need to print a calibration test page regularly. A calibration test page is a document that helps you adjust the alignment, color, and quality of your printer output.
Description: This error is primarily caused by a transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to rotate, the SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad or the fuser drive assembly has failed.
The drive system the motor drives may be too tight causing an over current state in the motor. Use the feed motor (M101) drive test in the Component test to verify that the motor is not working.
The only permanent solution to the 0x0000011B error is to install the latest Windows Update which fixes the issue. For now, you can try uninstalling the update or disabling the problematic security feature from the Registry. Other workarounds include installing the printer manually.
An E9 error occurs when the printer detects that ink system maintenance is required. An Ink System Maintenance page prints containing instructions to open and close the printhead access door to resolve the error.
Reset. Resetting the printer stops printing and clears the current print job received from the active interface. You may want to reset the printer when there is a problem with the print job itself and the printer cannot print successfully.
If you`ve tried all possible solutions and you still can`t print to your printer, reset the printing system. This process deletes all printers from your list of printers, deletes information about all completed print jobs, and deletes all printer presets.
There are two types of Fundamental Reset: Cold Reset. This is a reset generated as a result of application of main power to the system. Warm Reset.
To remove all data from your phone, you can reset your phone to factory settings. Factory resets are also called “formatting” or “hard resets.”
The Reset function resets a control to its Default property value. Any user changes are discarded. You cannot reset controls that are within a Gallery or Edit form control from outside those controls. You can reset controls from formulas on controls within the same gallery or form.
It may take you 15 minutes to reset an HP laptop. As for the Acer laptop, it requires 5 hours or 3 days to finish the reset process.
Open the printer`s web page and Sign in as Administrator. On the General tab select Reset Factory Settings in the menu.
To aid in your search, a list of the username and passwords for HP printers has been provided below. When in doubt, just use “admin” as both your username and your password.
The 59. F0 has been a common error code on the HP CLJ M452 and M377 / M477 MFP models. The printers service manual references this error to a “drum motor assembly” but in most cases has been resolved by replacing the Transfer Belt assembly (RM2-6454).
The default administrator or root password for all HP-provided Build Plans is: ChangeMe123! CAUTION: HP strongly recommends changing this password before deploying to any servers. See Set (encrypt) the administrator/root password for details.
While performing a Windows factory reset through Windows settings would erase data on your computer, resetting the BIOS doesn`t have anything to do with your PC data. In short, a BIOS factory reset doesn`t erase data on your computer; it only restores BIOS settings to their defaults.

Hp 4550n error 57.3
ANSWER : Any of the 57 errors on the HP LaserJet 9000 , 9040, and 9050 series printers are fan errors. There are 7 fans in the machine. Replacing the corresponding fan usually cures these errors; fans are a common failure part on this model. Potentially a failing DC controller could also cause a fake fan error, but that is not common. Below is a description of each fan error, and the corresponding part# for that fan.

My 2550n Color LaserJet does not want to print in color
ANSWER : That model had issues with the carousel solenoid sticking. That might explain why it works after you let it sit for 10 minutes. The solenoid gets hotter with use which causes the deteriorated foam on it to become sticky and hold down the release plate instead of letting it go. This allows the carousel to spin when it is supposed to stop for each color. The solenoid is located on the right side of the printer. If you open the lid, it is just behind the opening at the top right. You need to remove the top of the printer and scrape off the goo on top of the solenoid body. I put a piece of thin sticky backed felt to replace it. Other people use electrical tape.
