To initialize NVRAM
When the display begins showing the memory count, press and hold until all three lights on the control panel are lit.
To perform a NVRAM initialization: Turn the printer power off. Press and hold GO. Turn the printer power back on and continue to hold GO until the Attention, Ready, and Go lights turn on. Release GO.
Resetting the NVRAM is a quick, easy, way to troubleshoot a misbehaving Mac—it doesn`t delete any data from your storage drive, and it doesn`t require any tools or repair experience.
WARNING: Clearing the CMOS or NVRAM using a jumper resets the passwords in the BIOS. This includes the BIOS user password, admin password, and hard drive password. This does not include any other passwords such as Windows login, online accounts, and so on.
