Our Verdict. The HP DeskJet 3755/3772 and the HP OfficeJet 250 are both compact printers with sheetfed scanners, but the OfficeJet 250 performs slightly better for most uses. In 1988, HP introduced the first DeskJet. It included a built-in cut sheet feeder, 2 ppm, and 300 dpi. This was followed by the DeskJet Plus in 1989. It offered a landscape printing ability.
Deskjet printers are best for users who don`t have a lot of printing needs. They have lower printing costs per page, making them great for budget-conscious households. They also have higher resolution than inkjet printers, which makes them good for making detailed graphics or documents with intricate fonts.
Introduction. For the best print quality, HP recommends HP Premium Inkjet papers. Paper that is too thin, too slick, or too stretchy can jam the product. Paper that has a rough or fibrous texture or that does not accept ink can cause printouts to smear, bleed, or not be filled in completely.
Of all printer brands, HP Color LaserJet printers deliver the best print results when it comes to color accuracy and sharpness but Canon Color ImageClass printers come at a close second.
As print quality goes down over time, this will be a reason to replace the color printer. We find a black and white printer can sometimes last 10 years or more and most color laser printers are replaced every 3 to 5 years.

Issues in your printer`s ink or toner cartridges as well as an empty paper tray can cause your printer to delay your prints. Make sure that your cartridges are not running out of ink and the paper tray is not empty.
Ink cartridges can usually last two or three years if properly packaged and stored. But in a standard case, they will eventually dry out and become useless after this period. However, many major ink cartridge makers don`t put expiration dates on their cartridges.

After all, expired printer cartridges from HP can be used without any problems even one to two years beyond the expiration date without any restrictions. However, once the printer cartridges are even older, you should overlook using them. This is especially true if your printer has a standalone print head.
