It indicates firmware issues, paper jams, or improperly installed cartridges. Resolve it by performing a power reset of your printer. Take out the installed cartridges.
The Power button is blinking. This condition might be caused by an open ink cartridge access door, an empty input tray, a paper jam, or a carriage jam. An error message might display on your computer. If a `paper jam` error message displays on your computer, try the steps to clear the paper jam.
Some computers use a stagnant or slow-blinking yellow light to indicate when the computer has entered Sleep or Hibernation mode. The yellow light indicates that the computer is in a power-saving mode, and may appear to be off when it is actually still on.
Ink may have run out (The lamp on the ink tank flashes). If printing is in progress, you are recommended to stop printing, replace the ink tank, and then print again.
Similarly, the yellow light indicates the printhead is clogged and it`s time to clean it. The printer can not spray ink onto the paper if the printhead is clogged with dirt and residue.
Orange color light on the charging port means that your notebook is charging and White color means it charged fully.
The orange blinking light on the ink cartridges could be related to the cartridge error. 1) Take out the cartridges. 2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 3) Wait for 30 seconds.
Battery Troubles:
If your HP laptop has a removable battery, remove it and reinsert it after a few seconds. Sometimes, a faulty connection can cause the power light to blink. If you can access a spare battery, try swapping it to see if the issue persists.
A loose or damaged screen cable, inverter, or backlight are all possible culprits behind your particular laptop screen flickering woes.
Blinking Amber – The system is unable to boot to the operating system. This indicates that the power supply is normal but another device in the system is failing or not installed properly.
When a computer goes to sleep mode, the power LED may change to a blinking or solid orange light. If you`re using a laptop, a solid or flashing orange light often indicates the battery is charging.
If your router is blinking orange, it is likely getting an upgrade and you should give it time before doing anything. However, if your internet is unavailable or slow, it can get stuck and the blinking will not stop. Resetting the router and the modem normally resolves the problem and restores the connection.
The printhead could be clogged, and you might need to clean the printhead several times to restore print quality. Use an automated tool from the printer control panel to clean the printhead.

If you wait several minutes and it continues to blink, turn the printer off, then back on. If it will not turn off, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the power source. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back into the power source.
