If the paper does not load, the leading edge of the paper may not be straight or clean and needs to be trimmed. Remove the initial 2 cm (1 in) from the roll and try again. This may be necessary even with a new roll of paper. Ensure the roll ends are tight against the spindle ends.
Reasons why your HP printer has ink but won`t print
This may seem obvious, but it sometimes happens: first make sure your paper tray has paper in it. Misalignment, clogged printheads, faulty data communication or insufficient ink levels can also be sources of the problem.

Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
The most common reason is an unreliable connection between the printer and the computer. You might also have a paper jam, out-of-date drivers or a print spooler service with bad data.

If your PC or the LCD screen on your printer is telling you that your ink cartridges are full but no ink is passing through to the paper, then it`s most likely that you are dealing with a clogged printhead. Clean the interior of the printer every 6 months or 300 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Clean and remove paper waste, dirt, dust and ribbon shreds. suction nozzle. Do not clean any interior working parts with the suction nozzle to avoid possible damage to the printer.
Otherwise use a printer head cleaning solution recipe of 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol. We also like a homemade printhead cleaning solution that is 8-parts Windex to 2-parts rubbing alcohol. This printer head cleaning fluid works like a charm and it`s cheap to make!
Over time dirt and dust accumulate inside the printer, which affects it`s functionality. Cleaning a printer regularly can prevent a low print quality or damage to the device.

ANSWER : I was replacing the belt on my 750c and let the y-axis motor slip out of my hand. This caused the two wire terminals to disconnect from the motor. Does anyone know which terminals the white and black wires attach to? One of the terminals has a red dot beside it and I assume this is an indicator, but do not know which wire connects there. HP PSC 2410 clicking noise problem
ANSWER : I have the same issue… I’ve tried everything above… I don’t believe it’s dust as this happens on and off occasionally… I think I may need to make a youtube video of me “fixing” this printer! I’m really frustrated with this thing!! If it doesn’t work soon, I’m gonna by the solution in the form of a hammer!
