Open the ink cartridge door, and then wait for the carriage to move to the center of the product. Press down lightly on the ink cartridge that you want to replace to release it, and then pull it toward you out of its slot.

In Windows, search for and open Add a printer or scanner . Click Add a printer or scanner, and then wait for Windows to locate available printers. If your printer is found, click it, and then click Add device to complete the driver installation.

Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.

Your printer`s ink cartridge number is printed on the top or front of the ink cartridge carrier on a sticker. The sticker also contains the color of the cartridge – black, magenta, yellow and cyan.

Each ink cartridge typically has a number printed on it somewhere. You can remove the cartridge to find this number. Alternatively, you can look for the printer cartridge number or cartridge type in your printer`s manual.
