Most 13.20 error messages have been associated with exit sensors in the optional paper trays and with pre-feed sensor PS102, although this message can be displayed with a failure of any of the paper jam sensors. Using the Manual Sensor Test in diagnostics is the most useful tool in troubleshooting 13.20 errors.
The above listed printers may produce a 13.20. 00 `jam in right front door` error code. While there may be no paper visible, this is usually caused by a dislodged tray 1 pickup roller cover which disrupts proper positioning of the duplex refeed sensor flag.
The error is 13.02. 00 indicating it isn`t reaching the top cover sensor. The paper is getting stuck at the fuser, and the fuser is leaving a very noticeable indentation mark.

Very often a 13.1 Paper Jam Message will appear, instructing the user to check Tray 2 or to check under the toner cartridge. Upon thoroughly checking the printer there is no paper jam to be found anywhere.
Cause: Paper is jammed inside the printer. Remedy: Remove the jammed paper and set the paper cassette and covers to the original position.
The 13.02 error message indicates that paper did not clear the top of page sensor (PS103) within the specified amount of time allotted by the DC Controller. This sensor is located underneath the registration assembly.
A 13. FF. FF error is related to jams in the paper path. These errors indicate that the product powered up with a jam.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.

According to technical documentation this error is usually caused when trying to print on a unit that had either an internal or external finisher and that device has been removed, without replacing the flag assembly that is used for standard output bin.
A 13. B2. FF paper jam error appears on the control panel when paper is jammed in the top of the printer. Check the printer for jammed paper and clear the jam, if needed.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.
This means the baud rate is 9600 7 E for both the scanner and scale. If one tries to configure this Dual Cable device to a Single Cable device via bar codes it will beep once, reading the bar code, then emit a razz tone and throw an Error 13.
