When the message “Ink absorber full.” is displayed, the printer stops printing and needs ink absorber replacement. Push the power button to turn OFF the printer, and then contact the service center for replacement.
Press and hold the “Power” button and reconnect the power cord. When the printer comes on, release the button. Wait five seconds and push the “Power” button again. This resets the printer`s internal memory and overrides the “Ink Absorber Full” error code.
These ink absorbers are used to hold ink after it has been purged from the print head during the print head cleaning cycles. They can hold enough ink to last the normal expected life of the machine. In order to clear this message the ink absorbers inside the machine must be replaced.
Rubbing alcohol will dilute and release the ink, as will hairspray in many cases. Damp two paper towels with your solution of choice and sandwich the stain between the two. Start blotting the stain from both sides to lift the ink.
Isopropyl alcohol isn`t strong enough to melt the sponge but is still strong enough to dissolve the ink inside the blocked printer head.
An error in the cartridges, the heads clogged by dry ink, a very low level in your consumables, a bad connection between the computer and the printer, a damaged cable, a jam in the print queue…, there are many reasons why your Brother printer may stop printing or print poorly even though you have not jumped the ink …
The message “Ink Low” will be displayed on the machine`s display of the Brother machine if the amount of remaining ink in one or more of the ink tanks is low. This error message may appear if the ink dot counter is incorrect even if a lot of ink remains.

On the top panel you will see a “clear/back” button. Press it and on the display you will see a reset menu come up. Arrow to desired item (toner, drum etc) and press the OK button. Press “1” to reset the required item.

Canon pixma – ink absorber almost full

ANSWER : The only way is to buy a chip resetter and reset the chip on the cartridge. You can find them online for about $5. You just hold it against the cartridge until the light turns green. You do run the risk of damaging the printhead due to overheating because of no ink in it.
