Ensure that the power cord is correctly plugged into the printer and the electrical outlet. If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a new one. Try to plug the printer into a different outlet to rule out any issues with the outlet. If the power cord and outlet are okay, the next step is to check the power button.
1: Check Printer Power, Cables, and Paper

Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.

Some of the most common printer problems that most of us have experienced include paper jamming, slow printing, uneven printing, and wrong colour output. If you use your printer frequently, we know how annoying it can be to have persisting problems with the printer.

The product is busy. Wait for the power light to stop flashing before turning off the product. If you just replaced an ink cartridge and the power light is still flashing after 3 minutes, the cartridge may be installed incorrectly.

Turn off the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds, then turn it back on. If the error message still appears, write down the error number listed in the LCD panel (Cffff/Eggg), turn off the product, unplug the power cord, then contact a qualified service representative.

Epson Stylus C64 in problems, Help!!!!
ANSWER : a lucky tip – if all else fails and you don’t have a PC instead of a Mac, try what I did on my C63. When the head finished moving and both red lights flashed with a “general error’ message, turn off the printer power supply and physically slide the head from its rest position to the far left of the printer. This seems to re-set the “foreign body” trigger. Turn the power back on, the head slowly moves back to the rest position and hey presto the lights have stopped flashing and the printer works! Sounds clumsy but you have nothing to lose trying it, the cost of repair exceeds the value of a 10 year old printer.
