How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable on from both ends. Disconnect both your Brother machine and the computer and reconnect. NOTE: When the USB connection confirmation screen appears, click Allow or Yes. (If you are using a USB hub, remove it and connect your Brother machine directly to the computer.)
First check that the cartridges are correctly inserted and then examine the cartridge chip. If it is dirty, clean it with a cotton swab and a little alcohol, if it is incorrectly set, press it to reset it. Turn off and restart the printer now.

Remove and Re-Add Your Printer in Windows

If this happens, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and remove it. Then click Add a Printer or Scanner to re-add it to the device list.

Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
Do a hard reset on your printer. To do this you just need to turn off your printer, unplug for a few minutes and then plug the printer again. If that still doesn`t work, try turning the printer and your computer off, and then start it back up again. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling your printer driver.
Check to make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device. To find out if your printer is connected to Wi-Fi, see if your printer`s built-in menu has options for checking its Wi-Fi connection, or check the printer`s manual for instructions about how to add it to a Wi-Fi network.
Connecting via Bluetooth

First, turn on your printer`s Bluetooth scanning function. Each brand (and even model) does this a little differently, so check the instruction manual. Once it`s scanning, go to your phone`s settings, tap Connected devices and select Pair new device.
