How to Identify and Fix Common printer Problems ?

Plug the printer directly into a wall socket. Turn the printer back on. Often times the reseating the fuser and rebooting the printer will allow the fuser to reset itself. If the 50.2 Fuser error message returns, it`s time to replace your fuser and possible the power supply.
If you have NOT recently replaced the fuser or heavily jostled the printer around, then the 50.2F. 00 Fuser error indicates you have an actual fuser failure and the fuser needs replacing.
When a 50.4F. 00 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that there is an issue with the fuser or the power outlet where the printer is connected. Turn the printer off, and then back on to clear the error. Ensure that the power outlet, to which the printer is connected, is in good working condition.
Streaking, smudging, black lines, and double images are all symptoms of a bad fuser. When you notice these printing defects and experience problems, such as paper jams or wrinkles, this is a good sign to replace the fuser kit.
A fuser unit is a pair of heated rollers within the printer that fuses the toner onto the paper being printed on. Toner particles are pulled to the paper to create the desired text and images as the paper passes the imaging drum.
Issue Description: 50.7F00 is displayed on the control panel and printer may also experience frequent or constant paper jams in the fuser. Remove the fuser. On the right side of the fuser near where the fuser engages the fuser drive assembly, check if the alienation flag is broken (see the two examples below).
This error is primarily caused by a transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to rotate, the SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad or the fuser drive assembly has failed.
If you are seeing a “50.1 Fuser Error” on your HP LaserJet 5000 or 5100 series printer, you probably need to replace the fuser. Fusers are a consumable part and are sold as part of a maintenance kit; it is expected over the life of the printer you will replace the fuser several times.
Look inside the fuser opening to make sure there is no debris or jammed paper. Remove any debris or jammed paper, if found. Hold the handles on each side of the fuser and reinstall it in the printer.
Description: Printer boots up to 59. F0 Error and is unable to print. This error is primarily caused by one of the following conditions: A transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to properly engage the internal transfer rollers.
Description: This error is primarily caused by a transfer alienation failure in which the ITB is stuck and unable to rotate, the SR9 sensor (the primary transfer roller disengagement sensor) has gone bad or the fuser drive assembly has failed.
Laser printer fusers adhere toner powder to a page using a combination of heat and pressure. Error 50.5 occurs when the fuser fitted physically but the printer has specifically identified it as wrong.
The fuser unit must be replaced every 100,000 pages, usually along with the transfer belt and feed rollers as part of a maintenance kit. The error code 010-351 indicates that the fuser has reached 75,000 pages and as a result has 25% life or less remaining.
The fuser unit or fuser is a critical part of any laser printer. Using pressure and heat, it fuses the toner powder onto the page to create a print, and without it, the printer cannot operate.
Your printer monitors the life of your fuser. When the fuser reaches the end of its life, the printer displays 80 Fuser Exhausted. This message indicates it is time for you to replace the fuser. For best print quality, make sure you replace the fuser when the printer displays 80 Fuser Life Warning.

Fuser burning labels
ANSWER : Make sure the labels are rated for a laser printer as the ones for inkjet printers cannot tolerate the heat produced by a laser printer and will tend to scorch. If the labels aren’t rated for a laser printer then there may be nothing wrong with printer.
