Printer Job Language (PJL) was developed by Hewlett-Packard to provide a method for switching printer languages at the job level, and for status readback between the printer and the host computer. PJL offers application programs an efficient way to remotely control Hewlett-Packard printers.
When a 99.09. 67 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates that firmware is not loaded on the hard disk drive. This is usually the result of installing a new disk or performing a Clean Disk command.
64 – Disk nonfunctional. This error indicates that a fatal disk failure has occurred.
99.09.62 – Unknown Disk

This error indicates there is an encryption mismatch between the HDD and the formatter. This typically happens because an HDD was swapped into a device from another device or replaced. Resolution: If the HDD is in the device by error, remove it and return it to its original device.

Replace the toner cartridge. note: The 10.700X error code is a warning message and indicates that the toner cartridge warranty period is over.

When a 99.09. 66 error is displayed on the control panel, it indicates one of the following: a hard disk drive is not installed. the hard disk drive is not connected properly.
If the error code 33.05 is displayed once inserting the eMMC and or replacing the Printer`s Formatter, an updated firmware must be performed. The printer may broad cast this error along with the “Security Alert” message.
While formatting can repair a damaged hard disk, there`s no guarantee that your data can be recovered after the drive is formatted, especially if a Full Format is performed. Right-click Start and click Disk Management. Right-click the corrupted partition and click Format. Check Perform a quick format.
Open Computer Management by selecting the Start button. The select Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management. In the left pane, under Storage, select Disk Management. Right-click the volume that you want to format, and then select Format.
While performing a Windows factory reset through Windows settings would erase data on your computer, resetting the BIOS doesn`t have anything to do with your PC data. In short, a BIOS factory reset doesn`t erase data on your computer; it only restores BIOS settings to their defaults.
If you receive the `disk boot failure` error message, it`s because your machine can`t find the operating system and, therefore, is unable to boot. The error occurs because the BIOS is unable to find a bootable drive in order to start up your machine.

HP Laserjet 2200, Tray 2 Pickup Problem, Gears Clicking
ANSWER : Definitely not a solenoid problem. I’ve worked on tens of thousands of printers and never replaced a single solenoid. You probably knocked something loose when you installed the pickup roller. Maybe something to do with the gear on the end of the pickup roller shaft. You’ll need to take the gear assembly off to be able to see it.

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless with fake paper jam
ANSWER : HP Officejet is by far one of the frustrating piece of equipment I have ever owned. I bought it as unused in the package, at that point no warranty left. less than 6 months and 500 pages the white cog gear wheel broke. Luckily with instructions in this site I manage to glue it back together. Then I bought new ink – problems started as they were not original HP 30$ per cartridge. Ordered originals (here in China), took over one week to get them. Then found out that printhead needed to be replaced => more than 100$ spent. Still constant problems: If my wife kids print, I need to be stand-by as you never know what happens. Really an Office level equipment. After cleaning one paper jam I broke the encoder tape, took me another 4 hours to get it fixed. Then broke the cog gear again and got it displaced. Another 4 hours. Only reason I am not throwing this s***t out of window is that there are still ink left. Luckily this drinks them like a horse, for sure I will no more buy new ink. I will get a new laser instead, and not from HP. About cog wheel fixing: make sure that the white wheel is positioned correctly so that the small torx in shaft goes into the slit in the white wheel. When fitting the black cover back, make sure that the white washers on both sides fit into to slits of the black cover. Good luck.

Laserjet M603DN tray 2 not lifting
ANSWER : I had a similar issue with a M602, though it’s the previous generation machine they are close in design. This one kept saying tray 2 lifting but there was not a sound of the motor even trying. My first thoughts were replace the lift motor then DC controller but it was replacing the formatter that fixed it after other parts made no difference.
