Paper path fault
ANSWER : I’ve never really examined it, but I believe there is a piece of plastic on the door that moves and diverts the paper. That is somehow actuated by the control panel settings. Compare the door with the other printer and see if that is what is causing it. You might have hit it somehow when you were removing the fuser.

ANSWER : The 8870 I had which had a 97,721.00 error ended up being a split\cracked gear on the shaft that engages the maintenance kit, the :9875 is the printer page count. You can try to rehome the process drive but I would check and see if there is a split gear (where it mounts on shaft) first because the shaft will spin but the gear won’t engage if it’s cracked or split so it throws an error.
