Reset the printer, and then try to print again.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.

The stall current of a DC motor is how much current the motor will draw when power is applied but it is not spinning (for example, if the motor shaft is prevented from rotating), producing maximum torque and minimum (zero) speed.
There are three major causes for a stalled engine: A lack of fuel, a lack of air flow and improper ignition. Running out of fuel is one of the most common causes of engine stalling, but dirty fuel injectors or a plugged fuel filter can also be the culprit. Your engine needs air to run properly as well.
The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers. The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly. The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product. The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.
Description. A stall occurs when the angle of attack of an aerofoil exceeds the value which creates maximum lift as a consequence of airflow across it. This angle varies very little in response to the cross section of the (clean) aerofoil and is typically around 15°.
Manual cars stall when taking off because the drivers releases the clutch too fast (dumping the clutch) and the engine cannot meet the demand and stalls. Stalling the engine in a manual car is NOT bad for the vehicle, so long as it`s not done 8 or 10 times every day.

ANSWER : JLD- I am testing this now, but in either case the instructions were to the T. In fact it took less than ten minutes. (after trying to replace the cartridges 4 or 5 times with no change), So now for the results…..ok so no success but it sounds like it is trying. assuming I may not have turn counter clock wise enough….after a few more turns appears to be stuck in a loop. I will say at this time I am not unhappy I tried it. currently shaking cartridges and moving print head arm in attermpt to get it started. ok for a lst ditch effort, ( I know you shouldn’t) I am unplugging the unit and giving it a few minutes. and no change.

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.

ANSWER : Basically this kind of error caused by loss of voltage on print head. If this is the case then I suggest to buy a new printer rather than replace print head. Print head might be too costly.

ANSWER : You can try cleaning the contacts on the back of the cartridge and the ones that they contact in the printer. Other than that, you have to replace the cartridge. I once had one that did the same thing. I swapped the cartridge with another printer of the same model and both printers worked fine. I swapped them back and the original printer got the same error. The other printer had no problem with either cartridge. I swapped them back and left them that way.
