If you see this error code 13.20. 00 “Jam in Top Cover Area” on either an HP LaserJet 4200 or HP LaserJet 4300 series printer, the printer either has a sensor blocked or it has an incorrect model fuser installed.

If the LabelWriter appears as Unspecified or Unknown in Devices and Printers on Windows, it usually means that the computer has not identified that device as a printer yet.

The above listed printers may produce a 13.20. 00 `jam in right front door` error code. While there may be no paper visible, this is usually caused by a dislodged tray 1 pickup roller cover which disrupts proper positioning of the duplex refeed sensor flag.
This means the baud rate is 9600 7 E for both the scanner and scale. If one tries to configure this Dual Cable device to a Single Cable device via bar codes it will beep once, reading the bar code, then emit a razz tone and throw an Error 13.
For example; a 13. A2. D2 indicates that the paper jammed before reaching the tray 2 feed sensor when pulling paper from tray 2. In this case you would look for any jammed paper in or behind tray 2.
The 13.02 error message indicates that paper did not clear the top of page sensor (PS103) within the specified amount of time allotted by the DC Controller. This sensor is located underneath the registration assembly. The jam message may vary depending on the location of the page or pages that may be jammed.
This error indicates paper in the path at power-on or after a door is closed. All jam Errors ending in “FF” are residual jam errors which means there was paper or debris still in the printer after a printer was powered on or a door was opened and closed.
If it is only the 30.1. 13, this means there is a scan ASIC (application specific Integrated Circuit) hardware error. The ASIC resides on the Scanner control board. Typically a technician is disbatched with that type of service.
When a 31.13. 13 error appears on the control panel, it indicates that there is a jam in the document feeder because the feeder cover is open. Open then close the document feeder cover. If issue remains, open the document feeder cover.
With Devices and Printers open from the Control Panel, select the printer and select “Remove device” in the tool bar or right click and select “Remove device” for the unspecified printer.
13.20. 00 JAM INSIDE Tray 2 – Remove the cassette and check it and the drawer space for obstructions. Try a manual sensor test on the pre-feed sensor PS102 in the drawer space. 13.20 JAM INSIDE Top Cover – Remove the print cartridge and check the paper path beneath it.
Cause: Paper is jammed inside the printer. Remedy: Remove the jammed paper and set the paper cassette and covers to the original position.
The error is 13.02. 00 indicating it isn`t reaching the top cover sensor. The paper is getting stuck at the fuser, and the fuser is leaving a very noticeable indentation mark.
The 13. A4. D4 indicates that there is a “paper delay” jam in Tray 4. Which means that paper did not reach SR8 (sensor 8) in the allotted time necessary after the start of paper pickup from Tray 4.
ERROR 13 – Paper Jam.
A 13. B2. FF paper jam error appears on the control panel when paper is jammed in the top of the printer. Check the printer for jammed paper and clear the jam, if needed.
A 13. C3. A2 paper jam error appears on the control panel when paper is jammed before it exits the printer, or as it enters the stapler/stacker. Check the printer for jammed paper and clear the jam, if needed.
When a 13. E1. D2 Error appears on the control panel, it indicates there is jam because the paper cannot exit the printer. This might be caused by damage to the output bushing.
According to technical documentation this error is usually caused when trying to print on a unit that had either an internal or external finisher and that device has been removed, without replacing the flag assembly that is used for standard output bin.
Paper has jammed inside the fuser and cannot be removed from the top-cover area or the rear-output area.
An Er/01 error message indicates the input tray is empty. To resolve the error, make sure paper is correctly loaded in the input tray. Lift the dust cover. Slide the paper width and paper length guides to their outermost positions.
Any of the 4 flags obstructed at power on will produce 13. B2. FF where the plate would need to be lifted for inspection as any paper obstruction may not be visible otherwise.

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.
