At the core of the Epson Stylus Photo R3000 is the Epson 8-channel MicroPiezo AMC print head. One inch wide, it delivers a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi and produces variable-sized ink droplets as small as 2 picoliters to optimize photographic quality and increase print speeds.
The Epson Stylus R3000 can be modified as a DTG PRINTER, DTF PRINTER or UV PRINTER, and in all cases ACRORIP (DTGRIP ® | DTFRIP ®) can be used to control the printing processes.

Right-click on the image and then select “Properties.” A window will appear with the image`s details. Go to the “Details” tab to see the image`s dimensions and resolution.
Production speed: DTF printing is faster than screen printing, especially for small orders. Screen printing can be time-consuming, especially for multi-color designs. Final product quality: DTF printing produces high-quality prints with vibrant colors and a soft hand feel.
If you`re looking for a versatile printer that can handle both DTF and sublimation printing, the Epson XP-15000 is an excellent choice. This printer is known for its high-quality prints and cost-effectiveness, and with a few simple modifications, you can convert it into a DTF and sublimation printer.
All cartridges must be installed with ink for printing and printer maintenance. For print quality, some ink remains in replaced cartridges. Designed for EPSON cartridges only: Other brands of ink supplies are not compatible and, if described as compatible, may not function properly or continuously.
Use the paper designed for your printer. EPSON paper is designed to work with EPSON ink and printers. If you use incompatible paper, you may not get the results you expect. Select a paper size and layout to get the size of photos you want.
You can use plain paper; however, for the best results, you`ll want to use one of Epson`s special inkjet papers. Note: Inkjet transparencies and vellum paper are not supported. You can load one sheet of binder paper with holes on one of the long edges.
Wi-Fi Direct enables you to setup your printer to communicate directly with your computer or another device i.e. Smartphone or tablet, without requiring a wireless router or access point. See the example below. Note: Epson currently offer two different modes of Wi-Fi direct, Simple AP Mode and Wi-Fi Direct Mode.
Try connecting the product to another router, access point, switch or hub. Try connecting the product to your router, access point, switch, or hub with another Ethernet cable. Try printing from another computer on the network to see if the problem persists.
To produce a photographic quality print at 300dpi resolution you need an image that`s 4,800 pixels wide (16 x 300) by 4,200 pixels high (14 x 300).
For printing, the recommended resolution for all images and art files is 300 dpi. The offset press cannot accurately reproduce resolutions above 300, so it is the industry standard.
Epson printers function very well at 1440 dpi, and in general this should be the default setting.
If the quality of your printouts remains poor even after repeatedly cleaning and aligning the print head, one or some of the ink cartridges may be old or damaged and should be replaced. To replace an ink cartridge before the Status Monitor notifies you that the cartridge is empty, see Replacing an Ink Cartridge.
Screen printing can create a different visual output when compared to digital printing. Screen printing ink is typically applied more thickly, resulting in longer-lasting, brighter and more vibrant colours, even on darker backgrounds.
Digital printing produces a much higher quality image. ✅It can be expensive if you need a large amount. Great for small, custom orders. So, when deciding how to print your next t-shirt design, consider both digital and screen printing to find the best option for your needs.
Spot Color Screen Printing

Being it is one of the most beneficial in printing darker garments. It is useful for printing 1 – 4 colors; when you have more spot colors, other printing methods such as the simulated process may be a good option.

Remarkable Quality and Speed. The L3100 prints at a high printing resolution of 5760 dpi, delivering exceptionally high quality prints for all your needs.
Epson ET-3830

Print quality is excellent as well, with a four-color ink set and a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi contributing to its ability to create sharp and vivid documents.

Epson printers function very well at 1440 dpi, and in general this should be the default setting. The 2880 dpi setting is overkill for almost all jobs. Its improvement in image detail is essentially imperceptible, and it slows the printer considerably.

Multiple Problems With Epson Stylus Photo R280
ANSWER : I have had my R280 for about 3 years. It has worked fine with generic cartridges for several years now. Last week it indicated I needed to replace one cartridge. I used a generic cartridge from the same manufacturer I had used before. The printer would not accept the new cartridge and now told me that I needed to replace 4 cartridges because it recognized them as non Epson. Surely there is some way to fool the printer so it does not recognize generic cartridges – which have worked well in the past and are still over half full! Anyone got any ideas?
