The ink levels may be low and you may need to refill the ink. Visually check the ink levels. Also make sure you filled the tanks with the correct colors of ink. After you print, the colors in your printout need time to set as the ink dries.
The Epson printer driver has a preview feature that pops up right after you have clicked print. If you are using a printer profile and the Epson preview at the same time, a magenta cast is likely as the Preview breaks the color management process.
To find out which ink cartridge is empty, check EPSON Status Monitor 3 (for Windows) or EPSON StatusMonitor (for Macintosh). You can also tell which cartridge is empty by checking the speed at which the error light flashes when the print head moves to the ink cartridge replacement position.
If your printouts have incorrect colors, try these solutions: Make sure the Black/Grayscale or Grayscale setting is not selected in your printer software. Run a nozzle check to see if any of the print head nozzles are clogged. Then clean the print head, if necessary.
If your machine`s cyan, magenta, or yellow toners run out, you can choose Mono in the printer driver to allow you to keep printing. You`ll be able to keep printing until the black toner runs out. When the black toner runs out, you won`t be able to print until you replace it.
Your printer may be printing pink as the other ink cartridges have run out. Common printer-to-page technology processes colour in four parts; cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK), or toner. The ink cartridges in your inkjet or colour laser printer are split up into four colours.
A printer printing lines on the page are normally caused by a blocked, dirty, or damaged print head. Blocked ink cartridge nozzles, or not removing protective seals correctly when you installed a new ink cartridge can also cause missing lines of print.
The printer will not operate if a black ink cartridge is expended or any cartridge is removed. If a color cartridge is expended, you may be able to continue printing temporarily with black ink. It`s best to always have extra cartridges on hand.
Printers are actually in danger when filled with an empty cartridge. If a cartridge doesn`t have enough ink or toner in it, it starts overworking itself. In the overworking process, the cartridge begins to heat up. Even slight temperature increases can cause incredible damage to the printer.

Load plain paper or an envelope in your product. Access the print settings in your print application. Select Print Settings from the pop-up menu. Select Plain Paper/Bright White Paper or Envelope as the paper type setting.
