The Paper Mismatch alert warns you when the paper settings do not match the paper you loaded. You can turn off this feature from the product`s control panel. Select the home icon, if necessary. Select Settings > Guide Functions > Paper Mismatch.
A clog inside your Epson printer can sometimes trigger the device to send out a wrong “out of paper” warning. But aside from that, it can also cause paper jams as well as more severe internal damages. Thus, it`s essential to examine your printer for signs of foreign material or debris on its rollers.
Shut down the computer, then press the paper button to eject the jammed paper. If the error does not clear, open the printer cover and remove all of the paper inside, including any torn pieces. Then, reload the paper in the sheet feeder and press paper button to resume printing.
If you get this error on the printer display, it means you are trying to print something that is formatted to a size other than standard letter paper (8 ½ x 11”).
Now, typically this mean either the USB cord is bad or the ink cartridges are empty/bad. Step 1: I would suggest checking the ink levels in the printer, because usually when you`re out of ink this causes the printer to not print at all or eject blank pages when trying to print anything from the desk to/notebook.
The common reasons for this issue are various, for instance, the paper input tray is overloaded, dust or moisture can affect the paper feed or paper pick rollers, the printer driver is old, etc. Thus, the printer cannot detect the paper that has been inserted into the tray.
Default print jobs are formatted to fit an 8.5-inch by 11-inch piece of paper. Depending on what type of document you`re printing and what program you`re using to print it, it may be labeled “Letter.” A4 size paper, on the other hand, is closer to 8.25-inches by 11.75-inches.
Choose a paper size for a specific page
Select the text on the pages that you want to change. On the Format menu, click Document > Page Setup. Select a paper size from the Paper Size list, and then click OK.
Make sure the paper size selected in the printer software matches the paper size selected on the printer`s control panel. To verify the paper size on the printer`s control panel press, Home if necessary, then select Setup > Paper Setup. If this does not resolve the issue, contact Epson.
Turn the knob on the right side of the printer away from you to eject the paper in the printer. Remove any remaining pieces of paper. Caution: Use the knob on the right side of the printer only to clear paper jams when the printer is off.
If you have problems with paper ejecting properly, try these solutions: If paper does not eject fully, you may have set the wrong paper size. Cancel printing using the product control panel, then select Eject or Cut/Eject (roll paper) to eject the paper. Remove any paper remaining in the product.
The Print Spooler is software built into the Windows operating system that temporarily stores print jobs in the computer`s memory until the printer is ready to print them. In some circumstances you may need to stop and/or restart the service.
Stop the print spooler, delete print job files, and then restart the computer and the printer. Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord. In Windows, search for and open Services. In the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and then click Stop.
Depending on your region, the default paper size for copies is either A4 (8.3 × 11.7 inches [210 × 297 mm]) or Letter (8.5 × 11 inches [216 × 279 mm]).

paper drive wont accept paper
ANSWER : There is probably a small scrap of paper stuck at the left edge of the paper path. The paper hits it and skews to the left. The smaller size bypasses it. You need to shove something stiff, like a piece of file folder, down the paper path and attempt to dislodge it.
