How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

The primary culprit in the problem of clogged printhead nozzles, whether in Epson printers or otherwise, is air. Air blockages are fairly common, particularly because nozzles are becoming smaller, with every little bit of technological advancement. The next big culprit is, of course, dried ink.
Otherwise use a printer head cleaning solution recipe of 50% water and 50% rubbing alcohol. We also like a homemade printhead cleaning solution that is 8-parts Windex to 2-parts rubbing alcohol. This printer head cleaning fluid works like a charm and it`s cheap to make!
A clogged print head is caused by dried up ink that settles and obstructs the flow within your cartridge. This could lead to a less than stellar performance and should be fixed immediately. This is by no means a big problem; you don`t need to get your printer repaired or even buy a new cartridge.
If your PC or the LCD screen on your printer is telling you that your ink cartridges are full but no ink is passing through to the paper, then it`s most likely that you are dealing with a clogged printhead. Blurry documents and images that appear faded are also signs that it`s time to remove the excess ink.
Printheads clog due to infrequent cartridge use. If you regularly go a few weeks without printing, your cartridges will eventually dry out and need to be replaced. Cleaning the printhead can prolong your cartridge life and hopefully delay that replacement cartridge purchase!
Turn the printer on at least once every two weeks to automatically clean the print head and prevent the nozzles from clogging. If you do not turn on the printer for a long time, the printer may malfunction.
Ecotank ink is squirted into a chamber where it remains until it is used. For it to dry out, it would have to evaporate, so it`s unlikely. However, the print heads could still dry out or clog and dry.
Cleaning out a clogged tube isn`t too hard. Just remove the lines from the printer, soak them in warm water, massage them (especially around the area of the clot), and then use a syringe to suck air from one end of the tube. Ideally, the ink will come through really smoothly when you do this.
The sponge end of a blocked printer head can be cleaned with only one liquid other than water. This liquid is isopropyl alcohol. Isopropyl alcohol isn`t strong enough to melt the sponge but is still strong enough to dissolve the ink inside the blocked printer head.
Soak the Printhead

Fill a bowl with warm water (or a mixture of water and vinegar to clean the printhead) and place the printhead directly in it. Let it sit for five minutes or so. Pull the printhead out of the water and use a lint-free cloth or paper towel to remove the dried ink.

NOTE 1: While warm tap water is most readily available in the home, use of distilled water is suggested as it is technically safer for the printhead as it does not contain calcium or contaminants which could clog ink nozzles and/or impact the printhead`s long term performance.
In screen printing, the premature drying of ink within the fibers of the screen fabric, which prevents ink from flowing through the stencil onto the substrate, producing printing defects such as voids. Also known as drying-in. All text and images are licensed under a Creative Commons License.
There isn`t much that can be done in the way of repairing a printhead, only replacing parts. By the time a printer technician assesses your printer, gets the part you need, and replaces it, you could have ordered a new printhead from allprintheads.com and replaced it yourself for much less.
There are a few telltale signs that your 3D printer nozzle could be clogged. Material stringing, missing layers, clicking sounds in your extruder gears, and inconsistent extrusion patterns—specifically thin layers—are all symptoms of a partially clogged nozzle.
There may be several reasons behind the issue, such as empty ink cartridges, Clogged Print Head Nozzles, and Incorrect Print Settings. There may be a fault in the settings of Color Management as well. You can fix it via Running a Nozzle Check or enabling the Print Settings to Color or Replacing the Ink Cartridges.
Laser Printers: Which Wins Overall? Winner: Laser printers, since inkjet nozzles can clog and ink can run. Toner is dry and does not run or bleed.
If the tube is clogged, it`s a pretty easy fix. Simply remove both ends so they`re not connected to anything, then blow air or attempt to flush a liquid through it. If that doesn`t work, then I can almost guarantee that there`s an air hole.
One of the problems with an inkjet printer is that the cartridges can clog up. This can happen if the nozzle has dried-up ink, from infrequent use, or if it contains air bubbles, which can form after changing cartridges.
Nozzle Check

Check the nozzles if you notice print quality has declined and after cleaning to confirm that the print head nozzles have been cleared. If the nozzle check indicates the print head needs cleaning, you can access the Head Cleaning utility directly from the Nozzle Check utility.

Several factors may cause the product to print blank pages, such as print settings, low ink, or the product itself. Check the following: Make sure the product is placed on a flat, stable surface that extends beyond the base in all directions. The product won`t operate properly if it`s tilted or at an angle.
Using an eyedropper or plastic syringe, saturate the sponges with distilled water or Windex solution. Move the assembly back over the sponges as far right as it will go. Let the distilled water set for at least fifteen minutes. For the best results, consider letting the printer soak overnight.
You may need to clean the print head up to 4 times. You can also turn off your Epson printer and wait at least 6 hours.
A standard Print Head Cleaning cycle is done by clicking `Cleaning` on the Maintenance tab, then waiting a little bit until a message comes up; confirm it and click `Print Check Pattern. ` From this you can then tell what sort of Deep Clean you need to do by which lines (black or colour) are faded.
