When both the red light for your ink and paper out is flashing on your printer, then this error occurs because of a clogged printhead. The movement of the print head is blocked due to any foreign object or jammed paper. Clear it out soon as this will help to resume printing.
Answer: Red light blinking in L220 printer means the printer may have roller jam problem OR sensor problem occurs. So, please check for roller jam and fix it. Second, check the sensor`s head and clean it too. If you can`t do it manually, then check out the following video tutorial.
When the red H ink light flashes, one or more ink cartridges are low on ink. When the red H ink light stays on, you need to replace the cartridge(s). When you print, you`ll also see a message on your screen telling you which cartridge is low or empty.
Red ink light flashes One of the cartridges is low on ink. Check the message that appears on your screen to determine which cartridge is low. Make sure you have a replacement cartridge. Red ink light is on One of the cartridges is out of ink or not installed.
Two flashes:

If you just replaced an ink cartridge and the power light is still flashing after 3 minutes, the cartridge may be installed incorrectly. Reinstall the ink cartridge. Paper is jammed in the product. Remove the jammed paper, and press the B&W copy button or the color copy button to clear the error.
Yes, you can reset the print settings to their original, default values. Press and hold down the Cancel button for 3 seconds. When the message to reset the printer to default settings appears, press OK to reset the print settings.
Check to see if the lamp is burned out, broken, or installed incorrectly. Reseat or replace the lamp as necessary. Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.
The orange !
If the printer`s orange exclamation light is lit, it usually means there is a paper jam or the cover is open. Open the printer`s cover and make sure the paper is not jammed. Close the printer`s cover. Turn the printer off, then back on.

An ink pad is nearing or at the end of its service life. Contact Epson for support.
I will be glad to help. An E2 error occurs when the printer attempts to print a single-page or multi-page print job, and the paper length selected in the print settings does not match the length of the loaded paper.
Ink may have run out (The lamp on the ink tank flashes). If printing is in progress, you are recommended to stop printing, replace the ink tank, and then print again.
Epson Printer Errors
If your printer is displaying an error code or message on the control panel, search for `Error code` on your product`s FAQs tab.
The common causes of “General Error” are: Something in the path of the printhead (like bits of paper or something that`s been dropped in) Incompatible cartridges (Printer can`t/won`t recognise them) Autohead Cleaning & insufficient ink in cartridge(s) [PX/TX700W <-> Artisan 837 models]
The Paper LED flashing can be caused by no paper in the manual feed slot, a paper jam, the front cover is open, the back cover is open, dust on the drum, or not having a drum installed. Be sure that the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly is installed in the machine before continuing.
Remove any printouts or paper remaining in the printer. Load more paper. If this message appears during a print job, reset the printer by pressing the Pause button for 3 seconds, then load paper and send the job again. The paper source setting in the printer driver is different from the control panel.
The reset key is a single use key and once used cannot be used again. All EPSON printers have inbuilt counters that count up the number of pages a printer produces, the number of head cleans executed and various other attributes. Once a critical level is reached the printer will enter its service mode.
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns most of the settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language.
If the screen flickers only when a video signal is input, try replacing the cable connecting the projector and video device. If Light Output is set to Low (Eco), change this to High and try projecting an image for about two hours to see if it still flickers.
This is a common issue and can arise in virtually any projector, but this issue is more common in certain models of projectors. The flickering is caused by what is called “arc wander.” The point at which the arc strikes begins to move slightly on the electrode and makes a track that the arc “wanders” along.
When you see a flashing light by data that means that a print job has been released to that printer but is still processing. This typically happens when someone is printing a larger file size job.
It is time to replace the lamp when: The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate. The message LAMP REPLACE appears on the screen when the lamp comes on and the lamp warning light is flashing orange. To maintain projector brightness and image quality, replace the lamp as soon as possible.
Ink and paper lights blinking alternately means that your internal “waste ink pads” are full and need resetting/cleaning out. Check your Epson Status Monitor (on PC) for any error messages – if it says “service required” or “… end of service life” then it`s the waste pads.
