How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Try connecting the product to another router, access point, switch or hub. Try connecting the product to your router, access point, switch, or hub with another Ethernet cable. Try printing from another computer on the network to see if the problem persists.
If EpsonNet Setup cannot find your product on a network, try these solutions: Make sure your product is turned on and connected to your network. Verify connection using your product control panel. Check if your network name (SSID) contains non-ASCII characters.
Make sure the mobile device`s Bluetooth is turned on. Check to see if the printer`s Bluetooth light is pulsing. If not, enable Bluetooth on the printer and try pairing with the printer again. Check if the printer is communicating with another mobile device.
Check cables or wireless connection
Make sure that the printer`s USB cable is properly connected from the printer to your PC. If your USB isn`t recognized, see Automatically diagnose and fix Windows USB problems. Check the wireless connection (for wireless printers).
To fix printer not detected error, restart the printer by unpluggin it from the outlet and plug it back to see if it works. Check for printer connection. If everything is just fine, install the printer driver and update it.
The “printer icon not showing in devices and printers” issue mostly occurs for various reasons. For instance, it may occur when there is a corrupted printer driver or a corrupted system. Besides, if there is no Bluetooth support, the printer icon missing problem may also appear.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
Remove and Re-Add Your Printer in Windows
If this happens, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and remove it. Then click Add a Printer or Scanner to re-add it to the device list.
Use Epson Printer Connection Checker to check the connection status for the computer and the printer. You may be able to solve the problem depending on the results of the check.
Install and open the Epson Printer Finder app. Tap the printer you want to use. Tap “Enable Epson Connect”. Note: If the following screen is displayed, tap “Epson Connect Services” and then follow the instructions on the screen to register the printer and the user account.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
In the Settings window, go to Devices > Printers & scanners. Under the Add printers & scanners section, select the Add a printer or scanner button. Wait for the computer as it tries to find nearby devices, both connected directly to your computer or via the network.
Make sure that both ends of the USB cable are correctly inserted into the computer and the printer. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable at both ends. Disconnect the printer and the computer and reconnect them. Try another USB port if available.
Try the following: Make sure your product is turned on and securely connected to your computer or USB hub. If your product is connected to a USB hub, make sure it`s connected to a first tier hub (the hub closest to the computer) that has its own A/C adapter when more than one hub is connected to the computer.

Tried again this time I let it set for about 10 min then did a head cleaning. Completely solved the problem. I am a little concerned about its use on plastic. So far so good.
