Epson CX4600 Printer/Scanner Problem

Turn off your computer and scanner, then check the USB cable connection between them to make sure it is secure. The scanner may not work properly when your computer is in standby mode (Windows), or sleep mode (Mac OS X). Restart Epson Scan and try scanning again.

Turn on the scanner. Press the Wi-Fi button on the scanner`s control panel. From your computer or device, open the list of wireless networks and select the SSID shown on the scanner label. Then select the connect option.

If Epson has a Windows 11 driver for your product, it will be available on your product`s support page. To check if the driver is available, do the following: Go to the Epson Support page and search for your product. Select Windows 11 in the Operating System drop-down box, if necessary.

First check your connection to the scanner and computer: Make sure your scanner`s AC adapter is securely connected to the scanner and a working electrical outlet. Make sure the interface cable is securely connected to the scanner and your computer, and that the cable is not damaged or crimped.

However, there are a few common reasons that pop up the most: Loose or damaged cables: If the wires are worn out, it might prevent you from connecting to your scanner. Missing drivers: Your computer can`t properly “talk” to your scanner if the right drivers aren`t installed.

If you cannot start Epson Scan 2, try these solutions: Make sure your product is turned on and any interface cables are securely connected at both ends. Make sure Epson Scan 2 is selected as your scanning program. Make sure your computer is not running in a power-saving mode, such as sleep or standby.

Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners > Add a printer or scanner.

Windows: Double-click the EPSON Scan icon on the desktop. Or, select or Start > All Programs or Programs > EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan.
