Method 1 – Bypassng Ink Cartridge on Epson Printer
After opening the lid, hold the ink button down. When you find the ink holer is moving to its position, then open the cartridge`s lid which is having no ink. Close it again without removing the cartridge. Close the lid and start to print.
You can use plain paper; however, for the best results, you`ll want to use one of Epson`s special inkjet papers. Note: Inkjet transparencies and vellum paper are not supported. You can load one sheet of binder paper with holes on one of the long edges.
Use the paper designed for your printer. EPSON paper is designed to work with EPSON ink and printers. If you use incompatible paper, you may not get the results you expect. Select a paper size and layout to get the size of photos you want.
The printer will not operate if a black ink cartridge is expended or any cartridge is removed. If a color cartridge is expended, you may be able to continue printing temporarily with black ink. It`s best to always have extra cartridges on hand.
For print quality, some ink remains in replaced cartridges. Designed for EPSON cartridges only: Other brands of ink supplies are not compatible and, if described as compatible, may not function properly or continuously.

It should be safe to put any “paper” based material in a laser printer. You will want to stick with standard paper sizes (letter, legal, etc…)

Can you print with one or two empty ink cartridges? The quick answer is: Yes, you can (if you own a printer model that allows it) — but you shouldn`t keep printing with an empty cartridge for too long.
Temporarily Printing with Black Ink When Color Ink Cartridges are Expended. When color ink is expended and black ink still remains, you can continue printing for a short time using only black ink. However, you should replace the expended ink cartridge(s) as soon as possible.
Above or below the plastic holder containing the cartridges, a sticker indicates what type of ink cartridges your printer uses. The sticker also contains red, yellow and blue circles representing Magenta, Yellow and Cyan colors. If you see the sticker, you have an inkjet printer.
