Run a nozzle check to see if any of the print head nozzles are clogged. Then clean the print head, if necessary. The ink cartridges may be old or low on ink, and you may need to replace them.
Assuming you aren`t out of any ink, the reason your teal prints as blue on an Epson F570 or Epson F170 sublimation printer is likely because you are using the wrong print profile. To print with the most accurate colors, print through the Epson Print Manager and select the correct color profile.
Purple is a mixture of blue and magenta, so that means the yellow is either empty or clogged. Verify that there is ink in the yellow cartridge, then print a nozzle check. If the yellow prints, then try printing something else with brown to see if the image itself is messed up.
Solution On some printed documents that are purple in color on screen when printed out they print out blue or bluish/purple. This happens because of a limitation with LaserJet technology and CMYK conversion.
Blueprint printing is a specialized printing process used by various industries for essential documents like blueprints, construction plans, and architectural renderings.
If documents that you have scanned are printing with a blue background, you will need to calibrate the machine from within the printer driver. Click here for instructions on how to calibrate the machine. Follow the instructions below for your operating system.
A lack of magenta ink or toner applied to the paper by your printer is frequently the source of prints that look more blue or green.
The ink levels may be low and you may need to refill the ink. Visually check the ink levels. If you printed when the ink levels were too low to be seen in the ink tank windows, refill the ink tanks to the upper lines and run the Power Cleaning utility. Then run a nozzle check to see if print quality has improved.
Color Matching Settings
EPSON Color Controls. Lets you manage color using controls in your printer software, or turn off color management.
Check your print settings. You probably have COLOR selected and the printer is trying to make blacks and grays with color inks instead of black ink.
Why is your printer printing pink? Your printer may be printing pink as the other ink cartridges have run out. Common printer-to-page technology processes colour in four parts; cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK), or toner. The ink cartridges in your inkjet or colour laser printer are split up into four colours.
A 3:2 magenta to cyan ratio is an excellent place to start (79-100-0-0).
Defective ink or toner cartridges are one of the most prevalent causes of ink smudges or faded prints. Check to see if all of your ink cartridges are still in good working order. Check that the ink hasn`t dried out and that it`s clear of debris and residue.
Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Power it on and check if the blue screen error persists. Update printer drivers: Outdated or incompatible drivers can cause blue screen errors.
A printer printing lines on the page are normally caused by a blocked, dirty, or damaged print head. Blocked ink cartridge nozzles, or not removing protective seals correctly when you installed a new ink cartridge can also cause missing lines of print.
