When both the red light for your ink and paper out is flashing on your printer, then this error occurs because of a clogged printhead. The movement of the print head is blocked due to any foreign object or jammed paper. Clear it out soon as this will help to resume printing.
Answer: Red light blinking in L220 printer means the printer may have roller jam problem OR sensor problem occurs. So, please check for roller jam and fix it. Second, check the sensor`s head and clean it too. If you can`t do it manually, then check out the following video tutorial.
Some parts of the printer are broken, or there`s an internal error with the device. You need to restart your printer if you notice the `Resume` light and the Power light blinking together. There`s an improper connection. A flashing `Resume` light can also indicate a paper jam.
Flashing (slow) Indicates this product is copying, printing, receiving data, scanning, having an ink cartridge replaced, charging ink, or cleaning the print head.
The Power light blinks at a steady interval when the printer is processing a print job. If the Power light blinks fast, the ink cartridge door might be open, or the printer might be in an error state. If an error message displays on the computer screen, follow the on-screen messages to resolve the issue.
If you just replaced an ink cartridge and the power light is still flashing after 3 minutes, the cartridge may be installed incorrectly. Reinstall the ink cartridge. Paper is jammed in the product. Remove the jammed paper, and press the B&W copy button or the color copy button to clear the error.
It is usually on the top right-hand side of your printer, near any digital display screen that the printer may have, and where the button used to turn the computer on and off is also located. Find the button marked Pause/Reset on the row of buttons on the control panel.
The Wireless light blinks when the printer is attempting to connect to the wireless router or access point. Wait a few minutes, and then check the light again. If the Wireless light is on and steady, the printer is connected and you can stop troubleshooting.
Turn off the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds, then turn it back on. If the error message still appears, write down the error number listed in the LCD panel (Cffff/Eggg), turn off the product, unplug the power cord, then contact a qualified service representative.
Unplug and restart your printer Sometimes power cycling your printer can resolve the issue. Turn off your printer and unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug your printer back in, and then turn the printer back on.

Check Printer Power, Cables, and Paper Check that the correct paper is properly loaded into the printer and is not jammed. Replacing damaged cables, plugging in loose or disconnected cables, and fixing paper jams as necessary may resolve the issue.
If both lights flash together at the same time, there is a problem with connecting to your Wifi. Turn off the printer and try again. To view the current Wifi settings, press the Wifi Report button. The printer will print details of the current Wifi settings.
The operating current for the machine while printing is approximately 3.8 amps. When the machine is warming up it may peak. This peak enables the machine to print the first page quickly. Sometimes this warm-up peaking will cause lights to flicker as the power is drawn.
