Run a nozzle check to see if any of the print head nozzles are clogged. Then clean the print head, if necessary. The ink cartridges may be old or low on ink, and you may need to replace them. Your printed colors can never exactly match your on-screen colors.
The ink levels may be low and you may need to refill the ink. Visually check the ink levels. Also make sure you filled the tanks with the correct colors of ink. After you print, the colors in your printout need time to set as the ink dries.
If the nozzle check page does not print satisfactorily, there is a problem with the printer. This could be a clogged ink nozzle or a misaligned print head. See Cleaning the Print Head for details on cleaning the print head. For information on aligning the print head, see Aligning the Print Head.
The print head nozzles may be clogged. Perform a nozzle check to see if the print head nozzles are clogged. Perform a nozzle check, and then clean the print head if any of the print head nozzles are clogged.
There may be several reasons behind the issue, such as empty ink cartridges, Clogged Print Head Nozzles, and Incorrect Print Settings. There may be a fault in the settings of Color Management as well. You can fix it via Running a Nozzle Check or enabling the Print Settings to Color or Replacing the Ink Cartridges.
Ultimately, if you really need to maintain such vibrancy of colors, you must end of with a n-color printing process, CMYK plus additional colorants (bright green and orange, for example).

ANSWER : I had the same problem. After reading the comments, I tried Liquid Wrench spray. 1st try got about sixty percent improvement. Tried again this time I let it set for about 10 min then did a head cleaning. Completely solved the problem. I am a little concerned about its use on plastic. So far so good.
