Try connecting the product to your router, access point, switch, or hub with another Ethernet cable. Try printing from another computer on the network to see if the problem persists. If network communication was interrupted while starting Epson Scan, exit Epson Scan, and restart it after a few seconds.

Hold down the Wi-Fi button on the product for 3 seconds. If you are connecting the product via EpsonNet Setup and the WiFi light on your product is not solid green, make sure your product software was installed correctly. If necessary, reinstall your software.
Check cables or wireless connection
Make sure that the printer`s USB cable is properly connected from the printer to your PC. If your USB isn`t recognized, see Automatically diagnose and fix Windows USB problems. Check the wireless connection (for wireless printers).
To fix printer not detected error, restart the printer by unpluggin it from the outlet and plug it back to see if it works. Check for printer connection. If everything is just fine, install the printer driver and update it.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
What sizes are Epson cartridges available in? Epson ink cartridges are offered in either a standard yield or high yield / XL cartridge size. Frequent printer users are better off printing with a high yield cartridge. Because they are filled with more ink, they offer more prints and provide a better a long term value.
Select Start , then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners . Scroll down to Related Settings and select Print server properties. Select the Drivers tab, and see if your printer is listed. If it is, you`re all set.

To install or add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer
On the taskbar, select the Search icon, type Printers in the search bar, and then select Printers & scanners from the search results to open the Printers & scanners system setting.
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Under Add printers & scanners, select Add a printer or scanner. Choose the printer you want, and then select Add Device. If you don`t see the printer you want, select The printer that I want isn`t listed.

Note: If you don`t see your printer, make sure your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network and tap Search at the bottom of the screen to search again. If you still don`t see your printer, you can connect manually to the printer from the Manual IP tab or tap Wi-Fi Direct Setup.
Make sure the mobile device`s Bluetooth is turned on. Check to see if the printer`s Bluetooth light is pulsing. If not, enable Bluetooth on the printer and try pairing with the printer again. Check if the printer is communicating with another mobile device.

ANSWER : Hd snapping the ink cartridges in better, as per other people’s instructions, and no go. I got all frustrated, banged the printer’s side, and reposed in and out the dang cartridges and nada. Got all pissy and told the printer to Proceed with low Levels. I clicked Print and then when the epson printer icon came on, I clicked on settings and Ink supply levels. In here, it said my YELLOW ink was low, and yet on my epson printer screen, it kept saying my black levels were low. wtf. i had an extra yellow as I hadn’t changed it out with the cyan and blue and yep, all working now. geez. try your computer instead of the printer!!

Epson Artisan 835 print head cleaning question
ANSWER : I had the same problem. After reading the comments, I tried Liquid Wrench spray. 1st try got about sixty percent improvement. Tried again this time I let it set for about 10 min then did a head cleaning. Completely solved the problem. I am a little concerned about its use on plastic. So far so good.
