The Wireless light blinks when the printer is attempting to connect to the wireless router or access point. Wait a few minutes, and then check the light again. If the Wireless light is on and steady, the printer is connected and you can stop troubleshooting.
The Power button is blinking. This condition might be caused by an open ink cartridge access door, an empty input tray, a paper jam, or a carriage jam. An error message might display on your computer. If a `paper jam` error message displays on your computer, try the steps to clear the paper jam.
Power on and Resume Flashing

Issues: 1. The printer may be waiting to complete a print job, or receive data from your computer. 2. The printer may be out of paper.

Resume light is flashing

The printer might be out of paper. Place paper in the In tray.

A blinking light means you are having difficulty connecting to the internet. Ensure all telephone cable connections are tight and secure and reboot the modem and router (if applicable). POWER: A solid green light indicates the unit is properly connected to power. A blinking red light indicates a possible modem failure.
Troubleshoot a blinking orange light on HP DeskJet.

Are you wondering why my printer is showing orange light? It indicates firmware issues, paper jams, or improperly installed cartridges. Resolve it by performing a power reset of your printer.

Open the control panel and select Devices and Printers. Right click the printer and select See what`s printing. Click the top Printer menu and click Pause Printing to remove the checkmark and resume printing.
In the Devices and Printers window right-click or tap and hold on your printer and select See what`s printing. Click or tap the Printer tab, then untick Use Printer Offline from the menu. If the printer is paused, untick Pause Printing from the menu.
The Power light blinks at a steady interval when the printer is processing a print job. If the Power light blinks fast, the ink cartridge door might be open, or the printer might be in an error state. If an error message displays on the computer screen, follow the on-screen messages to resolve the issue.
These LED lights should normally be lit solid when the units are powered by their original power supplies. If you notice that the POWER LED is flashing, this might mean there is a power issue between the TX and RX.
Flickering or blinking lights are usually caused by one of the following: Problem with the bulb (not in tight enough, lightbulbs are incompatible with your dimmers) Loose light plug. Faulty switch or dimmer. Appliances or HVAC units pulling large amounts of current on startup, causing a voltage drop.
Some of the causes of a blinking light on your router include outdated firmware, damaged cables, faulty components, or network outages. Restarting or resetting your router often solves these networking issues but you can also update the firmware or contact customer support.
Make sure the printer is near the Wi-Fi router, paper is loaded in the main tray, and that it is turned on. On your Windows computer, open Printers & Scanners and delete the printer. Open the HP Smart app, and sign in. If you do not have HP Smart, download it from 123.hp.com or your app store, and create an HP account.
The Power light blinks fast when the ink cartridge door is open, or the printer is in an error state. If an error message displays on the computer or mobile device, follow any steps to resolve the issue. If the ink cartridge door is open, close it.
