Generally, System Error 86:01 refers to paper jams or obstructions (problems moving the carriage) in the Scan Axis area.
Error Code: 86:01 / Scan Axis Shutdown / Paper Jam / Substrate Jam. Error Description: System Error 86:01 is normally caused by any issue in the scan axis (the direction the printhead carriage moves from left to right). It can be related to a physical paper jam or a possible worn part / component failure.
An 86:11 error on the printer`s front panel indicates a scan-axis shutdown during initialization. Typically, this error occurs when the printer detects an incorrect scan axis length.
The more likley fault is the carriage board. The board is now removeable – so just reverse the whole process one this is done and boot the printer. You can check if the fault is cleared by booting once all the cables are in place – you dont need to re asseble the whole machine.
An Er/01 error message indicates the input tray is empty. To resolve the error, make sure paper is correctly loaded in the input tray. Lift the dust cover. Slide the paper width and paper length guides to their outermost positions.
Recommended action. Turn the printer off, wait 15 seconds and turn the printer back on (using the power switch located on the back of the printer). The error code should not appear again.
The 21:10 error can be caused by anything that inhibits the service station motion. The best way to troubleshoot the service station is to remove the motor and operate the white gears with your fingers to see if there is any obstruction to the movement of the sled with the 4 print head caps on it.

This system error refers to the inability of the Carriage Encoder Sensor to properly read the encoder strip. This may happen because that sensor is damaged. However, in most of the cases, this happens because the Encoder Strip is dirty (or damaged in some specific scenarios).
NOTE: The Designjet 510 and Designjet 800 WILL NOT be able to completely boot up without the card, it will show a message saying WARNING 05:10 (notice that this time it is a warning, not the actual System Error). Turn the product on while you press and hold the Resume button for 10-20 seconds. The Attention light turns on. Release the Resume button. The Attention and Ready lights cycle while the product restores factory defaults.

The error is because the maximum size of a file that can be stored on FAT32 is 4GB. This is a restriction of the file system and not SyncBack. The only solution is to backup to a file system that can stores files of that size, e.g. NTFS or ReFS.
There is a hole in the bracket that needs to over a stub in the black plastic frame. You may have to use a little force to move it forward to click over the stub. The other possibility is that the trailing cable is not making good contact in the carriage connectors or is damaged.

PCL error 41.03 and 41.05 ?
ANSWER : I had the same issue with errors 13.02.0 and 41.05. My HP LJ 4300dtn printer is connected to a Netgear ProSafe Plus switch. I went to HP website and downloaded the lasts drivers from this particular printer. I uninstalled the old printer and installed again using the new drivers. I accessed GUI using IE browse. I went to I/O settings and changed the speed from Auto to 10T FulI. Stopped the Printer Spooler service. Turned off printer and wait for 30 seconds, turned on back again and viola everything is working normal again.

HP Designjet 750C+
ANSWER : I was replacing the belt on my 750c and let the y-axis motor slip out of my hand. This caused the two wire terminals to disconnect from the motor. Does anyone know which terminals the white and black wires attach to? One of the terminals has a red dot beside it and I assume this is an indicator, but do not know which wire connects there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Error Code 51.1 says Printer Error No Kidding.lol
ANSWER : Sometimes turning off and on will allow you to print a few pages. The error is a beam detect error. The only real fix is to replace the laser scanner unit. Could be a loose connector on the scanner or DC controller from the scanner. That’s unlikely. You could try the only other free fix which is to open the scanner assy. and clean all the mirrors inside. The dust could obstruct the laser beam enough to cause the detect error.
