Remove all of the new cartridges you had installed and re-install the old (empty) cartridges that worked. Restart the printer, this should remove the not recognised error (and tell you some are empty).
Clean the Cartridge Contacts: one of the most common reasons you might get a cartridge problem error when your cartridges are new and full is the contacts on the cartridge might be dirty or otherwise obscured from making good contact with the electronics in the printer head carriage.
Hold the ink cartridge by its sides with the contacts toward the printer, insert the ink cartridge into its slot, and then gently push the ink cartridge until it snaps into place. Repeat these steps to clean and then reinsert the other ink cartridge.
Press the button on the chip-reset tool for several seconds until the LED light on the device goes off. Then, unlock the reset tool from the cartridge. Use the resetter with other cartridges and install them back into the corresponding slots in your printer. Voila!
If your printer`s status displays “Printer in error state,” there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn`t open and the paper isn`t jammed.
If your PC or the LCD screen on your printer is telling you that your ink cartridges are full but no ink is passing through to the paper, then it`s most likely that you are dealing with a clogged printhead. Blurry documents and images that appear faded are also signs that it`s time to remove the excess ink.
If you install a new toner cartridge but the Toner Life End or Replace Toner error indication remains, the toner cartridge may not be installed correctly. Reinstall the toner cartridge, following the instructions on how to replace the toner cartridge.

ANSWER : Found a post on Dell’s site that 2 users reported changing the yellow cartridge worked for them, one said it must have been empty but not reporting accurate ink levels.

No green arrows; there are blue errors but there are no screws beneath these. Have tried removing adjacent screws, but this did not help. Does anyone have a picture of the actual site where the screws need to be removed; for the Dell 3010cn drum cartridge? Bernie

ANSWER : You can try cleaning the contacts on the back of the cartridge and the ones that they contact in the printer. Other than that, you have to replace the cartridge. I once had one that did the same thing. I swapped the cartridge with another printer of the same model and both printers worked fine. I swapped them back and the original printer got the same error. The other printer had no problem with either cartridge. I swapped them back and left them that way.
