Power off the printer. Press and hold ΓΌ and right arrow buttons. Turn on the printer. Press Right to “Factory Defaults” and press checkmark.

The reset key is a single use key and once used cannot be used again. All EPSON printers have inbuilt counters that count up the number of pages a printer produces, the number of head cleans executed and various other attributes. Once a critical level is reached the printer will enter its service mode.
Restoring the factory-set defaults returns most of the settings to the factory defaults. It will not reset the page count, tray size, or language.

ANSWER : I have the same problem with excess toner causing lines over the printed page. Have tried to find where the excess toner is stored but cannot do so. No green arrows; there are blue errors but there are no screws beneath these. Have tried removing adjacent screws, but this did not help. Dell Laser MFP 1600n constant paper jam
ANSWER : I’m having a similar issue, checked you resolution and found the little grey piece seems to be in place and able to rock back and forth. When I send a job to the printer it sounds like it is trying to pick up the paper then I get the ‘Jam 0’ error. Any ideas ?

ANSWER : clutch doesn’t lower the roller assembly. The little bum on the paper tray will push the roller assembly down when you push the paper tray inside the unit. Clutch is only involving in rotating the rollers.

Print Quality Issue (Streaks and Ghosting)
ANSWER : Streaks are mostly caused by internal drum wiper blades that clean left over toner off the drum to prepare it for a new image. Ghosting is caused by a leftover image on the drum. The 6 inches that you mention would be the circumference of the part that is causing it. Fusers will never cause either problem.

How do I clean it?
ANSWER : Not familiar with that model, but somewhere it has 4 drums, one for each color. Not sure if what you are looking at is one of them, but it would be metallic blue in color. There is a rubber blade that cleans the drums, similar to a windshield wiper blade. In all probability, that is what is causing the lines.
