Follow the steps provided below to install the 3110cn / 3115cn Dell Laser Printer wirelessly using a wireless connection.
Check Ink and Toner Levels – Dell
Choose View Devices and Printers and select your printer. Click the Services tab, and select Dell ink levels. This page allows you to check the ink and toner levels on your Dell printer as well as print a test page.

For black and white laser printers, the memory range will be between 32 MB to 64 MB. On the other hand, color laser printer memory requires 128MB. In some cases, the amount of memory in a printer can be expanded with the installation of extra RAM modules up to 544MB to 1 GB.
Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer`s USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.
Enter “cmd” into the search bar and press the Enter key. Then, in the command prompt, type “netstat-r” and press the “Enter” key to find the Dell Printer IP Address. The other devices that are linked to your network can also be seen.
Check Your Desktop for WiFi
To discover whether or not you have WiFi for desktop, go to the Start menu on your Windows taskbar. From there, search for the Device Manager, and click the drop down button associated with your desktop computer. It will look like a + sign, and should expand more options once you click it.

ANSWER : I have the same problem with excess toner causing lines over the printed page. Have tried to find where the excess toner is stored but cannot do so. No green arrows; there are blue errors but there are no screws beneath these. Have tried removing adjacent screws, but this did not help. Does anyone have a picture of the actual site where the screws need to be removed; for the Dell 3010cn drum cartridge? Bernie

ANSWER : I’m having a similar issue, checked you resolution and found the little grey piece seems to be in place and able to rock back and forth. When I send a job to the printer it sounds like it is trying to pick up the paper then I get the ‘Jam 0’ error. Any ideas ?

ANSWER : clutch doesn’t lower the roller assembly. The little bum on the paper tray will push the roller assembly down when you push the paper tray inside the unit. Clutch is only involving in rotating the rollers.

Print Quality Issue (Streaks and Ghosting)
ANSWER : Streaks are mostly caused by internal drum wiper blades that clean left over toner off the drum to prepare it for a new image. Ghosting is caused by a leftover image on the drum. The 6 inches that you mention would be the circumference of the part that is causing it. Fusers will never cause either problem.

How do I clean it?
ANSWER : Not familiar with that model, but somewhere it has 4 drums, one for each color. Not sure if what you are looking at is one of them, but it would be metallic blue in color. There is a rubber blade that cleans the drums, similar to a windshield wiper blade. In all probability, that is what is causing the lines.
