Remove paper from the standard bin and multipurpose feeder. Remove any dust, lint, and pieces of paper around the printer using a soft brush or vacuum. Dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with water, and use it to wipe the outside of the printer.
Check Power Switch and Cable
Locate the power switch on the side of the printer and the power cable socket at the rear. Ensure the power cable is fully inserted and the power switch is on. Switch the power off, reseat the power cable, and switch on.
Dampen a piece of paper wipe or cotton towel with a small amount of all-purpose cleaner, alcohol, or acetone to clean the working table and the rails of the motion system. Wait for all cleaning residue to dry completely before plugging in and operating your laser engraver / cutter.
Resolution. Power the printer on and check for any sign of power such as Lights/LED`s/beeps/motor noises etc. If there are no signs of power to the printer, check and reseat the power cable and restart the printer. Ensure that the wall socket is working by testing the power cable in an alternative source.

ANSWER : clutch doesn’t lower the roller assembly. The little bum on the paper tray will push the roller assembly down when you push the paper tray inside the unit. Clutch is only involving in rotating the rollers.

Dell 3100cn drum cartridge replacement
ANSWER : I have the same problem with excess toner causing lines over the printed page. Have tried to find where the excess toner is stored but cannot do so. No green arrows; there are blue errors but there are no screws beneath these. Have tried removing adjacent screws, but this did not help. Does anyone have a picture of the actual site where the screws need to be removed; for the Dell 3010cn drum cartridge? Bernie

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.
ANSWER : And the first 2 sheets, the full and half sheet that go through first, are blank.

Multiple paper feed
ANSWER : Most likely the pickup roller solenoid is sticking. The way it works is the solenoid energizes, pulling down a metal plate that releases the pickup roller. There is some foam on the base to quiet the clicking sound. The foam deteriorates and the plate sticks to the gooey residue. This allows the pickup roller to continue to turn instead of stopping after one revolution when the plate springs back up. That results in multiple paper being fed. Solution is to find the solenoid, which is at the end of the pickup roller shaft. Remove the sticky foam and preferably replace it with some thin sticky backed felt. You can find it at a hardware store as it is used on the bottom of chair legs.
