DCP-750CW unable to clean 46

The error message `Unable to Clean 46` is an indication that the machines ink absorbers are almost full. The ink absorbers hold liquid and dried ink after it has been purged from the print head. These absorbers can control enough ink for the expected life of the machine.

If the LCD displays “Machine Error 46”, the ink absorber pad is full and needs replacing.

According to the Brother support website, Error 46 on a Brother printer is displayed when something called the `ink absorber pad` is full and needs to be replaced (don`t worry, you won`t need to replace anything when trying our fix).

Power your brother MFC-990cw and when you see `Unable to print 46`, close the message. Hold down “copy” and “scan” buttons simultaneously or press `MENU` on the touch screen (either of the two).
