Check inside the printer for any debris that might be causing paper jams. Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Remove any paper from the input tray. Open the rear access door, and then clean the paper feed rollers with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with filtered water.
A piece of paper stuck in the paper tray or inside the printer can create a paper jam. Paper jams can occur for a variety of reasons, such as overloading the paper tray, loading different thicknesses of paper in the tray, or using paper that isn`t appropriate for your particular printer.
Did you know most copier paper jams are caused by the paper itself? Misaligned paper. When a stack of paper isn`t aligned properly in the machine, it often causes a paper jam issue. When adding a ream of paper, always fan the paper, load carefully and avoid overstuffing the tray.
Common causes of paper jams include: Damaged rollers. Inserting paper that is incompatible with the printer. Loading the paper incorrectly.
A paper jam is when paper or other printed material gets stuck or lodged in a printer and cannot eject.
Incorrect loading of paper is probably the most common cause of paper jam. There`s a lot of things that can go wrong when loading the paper into the input tray. For example, sheets that got stuck together in the tray can be pulled in together, immediately causing a paper jam.
The first way to eliminate static electricity is by controlling the humidity in the air of your print environment. Relative humidity needs to be above 40%, and operate your printer at an ambient temperature of 20 to 32ºC (68 to 90ºF). An industrial humidifier keeps the moisture at bay.
Paper pushed too far into the input tray when it is loaded, might feed into the printer incorrectly, causing the paper to tear. Paper stacks loaded into the input tray with too many or too few sheets of paper, might feed into the printer incorrectly, causing the paper to tear.
It`s important to replace the drum promptly when it`s low to avoid any further damage to the printer and to maintain optimal print quality. A bad drum may cause paper jams because it can cause the toner to be unevenly distributed on the paper, leading to jams or misfeeds.

My printer feeds through one piece of paper all the way and then a half piece of paper and stops. I pull out the paper to stop the paper jam and then it prints but sounds rough. After printing, it doesn't feed the paper all the way through.
And the first 2 sheets, the full and half sheet that go through first, are blank.

Paper Jam error but no paper jam
Obviously you didn’t get all the paper cleared out. There is a small scrap in the paper path causing the jam when the paper hits it. You can try clearing it out by inserting something stiff like a piece of file folder from the back of the printer into the paper path and pushing the offending piece out that way.
Paper Jam and carriage jam code when nothing is jammed
Did you try cleaning the encoder strip that runs through the cartridge assy.? Use Window Cleaner on a paper towel. Also, check inside on the right. I’ve seen a lot of times where there is a folded up scrap of paper that stops the carriage from going all the way to the right.

Isopropyl alcohol is not recommended for rubber rollers. It dries out the rubber and hasten it’s cracking and breaking. It will do nothing to restore the grip. Those rollers are really hard to replace. It would be easy if that dumbass secondary menu really worked. None of the techs I’ve spoke to ever got into it. Everyone I know sends a print job and listens for the roller to rotate into position where you can pull it off.
Keep getting a paper jam message. There is no jam.
You can quit wondering. Parts are unavailable. I’ve seen posts where people have 3D printed the parts or machined them out of metal.

I’m having a similar issue, checked you resolution and found the little grey piece seems to be in place and able to rock back and forth. When I send a job to the printer it sounds like it is trying to pick up the paper then I get the ‘Jam 0’ error. Any ideas ?
