How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

The bottom part of the printer Canon Pixma is fully covered with sponges and forms the so-called waste ink tank. Each time you clean the printheads on your inkjet printer, ink is sucked out of the printer`s print nozzles and out of the cartridges, and into the sponges on the bottom of the printer via one or more hoses.
Press and hold the “Power” button and reconnect the power cord. When the printer comes on, release the button. Wait five seconds and push the “Power” button again. This resets the printer`s internal memory and overrides the “Ink Absorber Full” error code.
Just above the circuit board on most printer cartridges, you`ll find a small button. You`ve seen these tiny buttons before on cell phones, phone chargers, etc. This is your reset button, and the only way to get in there is either with a paper clip or the tip of a pen (which will leave a tiny ink smudge on the button).
They are designed to collect any “waste ink” the printer produces.
With the printer powered on, select Setup . Select Device settings . Scroll to the bottom of the menu list and select Reset settings.
It`s important to note that even though the toner has not technically been used on paper, it cannot be reused again in any way. Whether your machine is a black and white device or a full, 4-color printer, all toner colors deposit into the same waste toner bottle.
A message appears on the printer touch screen when the waste toner container is full. If you continue copying or printing without replacing the waste toner container, the printer stops after copying or printing approximately 18,000 sheets. Replace the Waste Toner Container.
This error occurs due to the chip on your cartridge still reporting a low or empty ink level from its previous use. The chip itself cannot be reset, so when the cartridge is refilled and then installed into a new machine it will still register as empty.
With the printer powered on, select Setup . Select Device settings . Scroll to the bottom of the menu list and select Reset settings.

ip4200 INK TANK RESET and WASTE TANK RESET
ANSWER : Different cartridges, notwithstanding, don’t have a ‘fill gap’ so you’ll have to make one yourself. Our refill units for these sorts of cartridges accompany a smolder apparatus which is utilized to blaze (really dissolve) a fill opening in the cartridge . Our refill guidelines will demonstrate you precisely where to make the fill opening (you would prefer not to make it in the wrong spot). A blaze device come standard in all refill packs for cartridges without processing plant made fill openings. if you want to get proper detailed information then call us at 1-888-924-2961for more information regarding canon printer support.
