If the cord is not damaged, plug it back in after at least five minutes. If you are still unable to obtain power to the device, try another power outlet. If possible, try connecting power directly to a wall outlet (as opposed to using a surge protector or power strip…just as a troubleshooting measure).
Your printer may not be responding because you`re using a wrong printer driver or it`s out of date. To see if that`s the case for you, you should update your Canon printer driver. If you don`t have the time, patience or skills to update your driver manually, you can do it automatically with Driver Easy.
Simply turn the printer off with the power button on the printer. Once turned off, disconnect the printer`s power cord from the back of the printer. Wait approximately 30 seconds before you reconnect it. Once reconnected, use the printer`s power button to turn the printer back on.
The short answer is yes. Windows 11 supports all devices that have Windows 11 compatible drivers. Windows 11 has nothing to do with your printer hardware.
Hold the on/off button and press the stop button 5 times. Release the on/off button. The printer resets itself and restarts automatically afterwards.
The hard reset helps you restore your Canon printer back to its default factory configuration. Here`s how to perform a hard reset: Step 1: Press and hold the “Stop” button on your Canon printer until you hear the alarm ringing. Step 2: Release the “Start” button only after the alarm flashes or rings at least 19 times.
Connect your printer via a USB cable
Simply plug one end of the cable into the USB port on the Canon printer and the other into the USB port on your computer. Then, plug in the power cable and turn on the printer. After connecting the printer with your computer, you can follow Step 2 to install the printer driver.
A look at Canon USA`s site(Opens in a new window) shows that the vast majority of Canon printers support Windows 10. To check a particular model, click on the printer category, the model name, and then Drivers and Software. The pull-down menu will indicate whether Windows 10 is supported, and with which software.
According to Microsoft, Windows 11 is based on the solid foundations of Windows 10 software, so your current printer(s) should all work as normal. Any compatibility issues will depend on your PC hardware rather than printer.
The fuse protects your printer from short circuits and power overload. It is placed between the power outlet and the switch on the left side of the printer. If your machine does not start after pressing the power switch, at first you should check if the power cable is connected to a power source.
Printer sleep mode
Check that the printer does not have sleep mode enabled: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer in question, then select Printer Preferences. Look for an option to disable sleep or time-out mode.
Press the key on the printer`s control panel. If the printer has entered Sleep Mode 2, you can release the mode when [ ] (Power) is pressed.

Canon Pixma iP3000 "Open door" Error code.
ANSWER : Look for a protruding plastic on the top that goes into an indentation. Mine was in the front left side. Put a piece of cardboard into the indentation.and close the door. The top plastic piece is not pushing the door close sensor down and because its too short and the cardboard allows the sensor to be reached and pushed.
