How to Identify and Fix Common Problems ?

Check1 Make sure that the printer is turned on. Check2 Make sure that the Wi-Fi lamp is lit on the front side of the printer. If the Wi-Fi lamp is off, Wireless LAN is inactive. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Under Add printers & scanners, select Add a printer or scanner. Choose the printer you want, and then select Add Device.
Reconnect the printer device. Sometimes, all you need to do to fix this frustrating issue is reconnect your printer entirely. What this means is removing the device from your system, unplugging it, and then reconnecting it again. It`s possible that doing so will fix potential driver issues and allow you to print again.
The easiest way to connect the Canon printer to the computer is via a USB cable. It`s the traditional method of connecting devices. One end of the USB remains connected to the printer, and the other must be connected to the computer`s USB port.
