1200. The ink cover is open. Close the ink cover and wait for a while. Do not close the ink tank cover while you are replacing an ink tank.
You can check the status of the machine by the ON and Alarm lamps. ON lamp is off: The power is off. ON lamp lights: The machine is ready to print. E, 0, 8 E08 Ink absorber is almost full. The ink absorber collects excess ink after head cleaning or during printing. Ink usually goes into a bottle which eventually becomes full. There is a risk that ink can begin to spill.
If your printer`s status displays “Printer in error state,” there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn`t open and the paper isn`t jammed.
Disconnect the printer cable from the printer, turn the printer off, and then unplug the printer from the power supply. Plug the printer back in and turn the printer back on. If the problem is not resolved, contact your Canon service representative.
Check to make sure there are no paper jams or other obstructions. Unplug the printer for approximately two minutes, then plug it back in.

ANSWER : Look for a protruding plastic on the top that goes into an indentation. Mine was in the front left side. Put a piece of cardboard into the indentation.and close the door. The top plastic piece is not pushing the door close sensor down and because its too short and the cardboard allows the sensor to be reached and pushed.

Canon Pixma MP610 won't print in black
ANSWER : Printer cleanings use wet ink to clear dried up ink. Yeah, that works real well. The best way to clean the heads is remove all the ink tanks. Next to the tanks on the right, there is a plastic release lever. Pull up on it and it will release the heads. Reach in and pull them out. Take the heads over to the sink and run hot tap water into the screen for the black and then turn it over and run it over the heads on the bottom. Repeat a few times and reinstall.
