Connecting Device to Printer

Simply turn the printer off with the power button on the printer. Once turned off, disconnect the printer`s power cord from the back of the printer. Wait approximately 30 seconds before you reconnect it. Once reconnected, use the printer`s power button to turn the printer back on.
Pairing Smartphone and Printer
- Check that printer is turned on.
- Start app.
- Tap More.
- Tap Bluetooth Setup. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the smartphone and the printer. If using an Android smartphone, once pairing is complete, you can print or scan from the app.

Canon Pixma MX882 won't print black text
ANSWER : Yeah I’m having the same problem with my Canon MX882. I’ve refilled the pigment tank, cleaned the print head and I still get no pigment black at all. I think it has something to do with the purge unit, but I don’t see any instructions on how to clean it. If I can figure it out, I’ll let you know.

ANSWER : This video shows how to remove the heads. Ignore his methods of cleaning them as they are really stupid. Best way to clean the heads is to run hot tap water into the screens and then flip it over and run the hot water on the heads. Repeat a few times until the water runs clear. Then dry it thoroughly with a paper towel and reinstall.
