Error 5200 may occur if the ink level in your printer is low or if you have a defective ink cartridge.
Turn off printer and unplug it. Plug in the printer again and turn it back on. If this does not solve the problem, service is required. For support and service options, sign into (or create) your Canon Account from the link below.
The error 5200 is connected to ink levels and usage within your printer. Issues such as low ink levels, a defective ink cartridge or a dirty printhead can trigger this error.
Check the remaining ink level, and then refill the ink tanks if necessary. Turn off machine and unplug it. Plug in machine again and turn it back on. Perform print head Cleaning.
The 5200 error would point to a problem with the print head in the MB2720 or a problem with the ink system. If you have tried turning the printer off and on and the inks are seated properly, it looks like the printer needs service.
The 5200 code is a general hardware error. I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer and let it sit for 60 seconds. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times.
This error is that your waste ink is full. Reset the printer. Press the reset button and hold it while it`s off. Then, turn it on and press the reset button twice.

You can run a power ink flushing to replace all of the ink in the ink tubes if necessary. This may improve print quality, but consumes more ink than the head cleaning or powerful cleaning options. This process can take up to 20 minutes.

If you encounter the E02 or E03 error, this is because the printer cable is too tight and the printer door cannot be properly closed.

Confirm that there are no materials (e.g. the protective material or jammed paper) that is preventing the print head holder from moving.

With the printer powered on, select Setup . Select Device settings . Scroll to the bottom of the menu list and select Reset settings. In the Reset settings menu, select the desired area you want to set back to the factory defaults.

Error code E04 means that the FINE cartridge in your printer is not installed correctly. To remove the cartridges you will need to push the output tray back in before opening the cover. Once cartridges have been removed they can be re-install them by firmly pushing them back in until they click into place.

ANSWER : Look for a protruding plastic on the top that goes into an indentation. Mine was in the front left side. Put a piece of cardboard into the indentation.and close the door.
