Insert the paper into the multi-purpose tray until the paper stops. Load the paper with the print side face down. The screen for specifying the paper size and type is displayed when the paper is fully inserted. Make sure that the paper stack does not exceed the load limit line ( ).
The transfer unit is the part of the laser printing process that is responsible for transferring the image on the page before it goes through the fusing unit. Transfer units do eventually wear out and need to be replaced after an extended period of use.
Transport the printer in an upright position, and secure to prevent tipping. caution: Ensure that the top case remains in an up-right orientation. Ink leakage may occur if the top case is set upside down.
If the paper feed rollers are dirty or paper powder is attached to it, paper may not be fed properly. In this case, clean the paper feed rollers. Cleaning will wear out the paper feed rollers, so perform this only when necessary. Make sure that the power is turned on and remove any paper from the rear tray.
The LOAD LETTER error message indicates that your computer software is configured to print on Letter Sized paper whereas your printer is not using Letter sized paper. Because of this, the printer front panel is prompting the user to insert Letter Sized paper.
